"Bush polls have fallen to a new low," shout the newspaper headlines or the news anchors on television. "President Bush and Congress have reached their lowest numbers yet," they continue, trying to speculate whether this is caused by the high gasoline prices, the current economy, or the war in Iraq.
This is strange since there is good news, mostly hidden by the media, about all three.
1. Recently, the U.S. Energy Department announced the results of a land survey: "We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth. Here are the official estimates:

2. Our economy is at its best today with unemployment at its lowest in decades and with three million new jobs added!
snip
3. We are winning the war in Iraq and, as I write this, Jawad al-Maliki, an experienced political operator and advocate for Iraq's Shiite Muslims, has won the approval

Anti-Bush information also pours into our homes from the news on NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and even Fox News. The latter says that it is fair and balanced, implying that it gives you news from both the left and right political wings. But if TV news is to be balanced, should we not have at least one TV network that tells us only the truth about our country without two commentators spinning in two different directions? Don't we get enough opinion, generally slanted to the Left, from all the other networks?

Polls always reflect not what people think but rather how they react to the news they see and hear every day beamed or tossed into their homes by both television and print.

My "crowd" are not leaving the threads to you or to RM to sully with your tiresome and worn out Bush bashing.
When you see your item is selling well and people are willing to pay a lot for that item, you don't usually limit production. That tactic might work with limited edition prints or other collectibles which you control, but it might not work with most items. If you cut back on production and are competing with people worldwide you might put yourself out of business. You'd make yourself irrelevant.
With the present high cost of oil, this would be the ideal time to do what it takes to increase supply
THANKS! :-)
Only in your dreams, EV.
Butt out; it's not your party anymore.
Amen.

Hellow Howlin...FReepRegards, BJN
That's right. EV dropped out of the GRAND OLD PARTY.
B.S. You're not in charge of memberships.
Who do you think you are, Darrell Issa?
Hey, I think those "families" make some of their "kids" post on FR! :-)
I've been giving the media driven panic some thought; especially now that I have seen them drive some stories, like Katrina and ...........and, well, all of them........LOL.
You might want to watch out what you wish for.
For someone who claims to want to beat Democrats, you sure seem to be in a hurry to drum folks out of the GOP.
Congratulations!
You did as fine a job loading those questions as any national polling company I've seen in years!
A pro couldn't have done it better!
Honest question how do you drop out of the party. I always here about registered republican, but where does one register their party? I know this sounds retarded but its a legit question, nobody I know has ever registered for a party. Thanks
I'd have to say you do not know FR. The posts here are as varied as is the news - that which we comment on and that which we make (aka Dan Rather fake docs) and that we report hours ahead of the regular media (Shuttle disaster and extent of Katrina damage).
Have not checked your FR credentials but can I just ask, how long have you been posting on FR?
Really. So the President is not Commander and Chief? I would send the militray to patrol the border (by the way they already do in a very limited capacity), and I would pressure the Congress into passing the House Bill that would make illegals and their employers subject to heavy fines. I would also advocate a federal Law requiring English to be the National Language, and require all immigrants to pass a citizenship test in English before they are awarded citizenship. Bush obviously cannot pass laws, but he can take a stand on issues that is intent on preventing the growing Fifth Column of Mexican nationals who are using our own government to turn the southwest back into Mexican territory.
Am I mistaken? I recall you posting a letter you wrote, formally dropping from the GOP.
I assure you it was pure bias. It's too late and I'm too tired to load any poll on purpose.
BTW. It's still much more 'my party' than it is 'yours'. You'll never admit it, but without straight up the line conservatives, the "GOP" is no longer "grand" at all...just "old"...a pale, limpid, immitation of the Democrats.
I guess you should follow along closer, then.
