Breaking on CNN, Tony plans to take the job at the White House.
(Excerpt) Read more at .cnn.com ...
LOL -- well, dang --- I am still wanting candy.
CNN broke the story, but they cannot get formal confirmation...lol.
What??
The crossing the i's & t's ???
yes .. they did last night
Cool!
"LIKELY" does not match the declarative statement that he TOOK the job. Sounds like CNN jumped the gun on the story. Do we have a link to their bad reporting?
So where is the article on CNN that he TOOK the job? Doesn't the title of the thread have to match the article?
I KNOW what the meaning of IS is. Some may not.
The poster who put up the thread was probably not as sensitive to nuance as one might wish in the way he headlined the article. When I read the thread this AM, I checked CNN asap, typed in "snow" in the search box, and came up with the actual story. Aren't I industrious?
Wanna bet the first round of questions from MSM to Snow will be "On September 30, 2005, you said of Bush 'No president has looked this impotent this long when it comes to defending presidential powers and prerogatives' - were you lying then or are you lying now?"
You're kidding me, right??
He'll laugh at them. Tony is a kind person and out classes the whole of them combined.
The link is flawed because an extra dot was inserted after "www," so it was entered "www.," and thus the mod was not able to double check the story and notice the headline discrepancy. Don't worry, be happy.
Except that the story you posted ... which is the one I am reading in various news venues, says something entirely different than the one the poster put on this thread.
I'm wondering why FR mods did not correct the title ... especially after so much confusion and the rules about posting original titles.
The links are worthless as well.
Tony will probably have prepared a comeback exposing some hypocricy of each of the "journalists" in the WH Press Room just in case.
No, the story you posted is different than the title.
We'll have to see if laughter is enough to keep the MSM from gaining traction - maybe he will be able to spin it properly - I believe that this kind of track record will be Tony's biggest liability as Press Secretary:

I answered your question before you asked it. That is why I am paid the big bucks.
He'd better do more than that. I'd take the "that's why you can trust me - I'm an outsider - never drank the Kool-Aid" approach ; )
I disagree.
Tony will address the topics he wishes and kiss off others, especially OLD news.
Except that the link, even without the extra dot, doesn't go to the story.
I believe ... it's also been posted by others on this thread
If you don't believe me .. then ignore my post
