"She was not the source for that story," said Rand Beers, who has talked with his former colleague, Mary McCarthy, a veteran intelligence analyst."
Boy, Beers has really been on the phone. Front man for the Clintonistas.

Mr. Beers is a member of the Senior Executive Service. He joined the Department of State in 1971 after four years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Before assuming his position as Assistant Secretary, Mr. Beers was the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for INL from January to October 1998.

"justa nutter clintonista...."
Wagons being circled. 'Tis a good sign that Goss has the goods on a number of 5th Columnists at the CIA. This McCarthy gal was way up the ladder. Big fish. That this shoe dropped tells me there will be many more. Hehehehehe....
Alright, then just what in tarnation did the traitorist hack leak?
LOL! I guess he didn't hear that she confessed after failing a polygraph test.
How the hell does he know? Because she said so?
Does that mean that she doesn't qualify for a pension? If so, and she thinks she's innocent, she should take it to court.
If she knows she's not innocent, she should hope that's the worst they do to her. (Although I hope they do worse)
And there has been no change reported in General Franco's condition!
"She was not the source for that story," said Rand Beers..."
Unless he is the source or he is omniscient, there is no way that Beers knows this.
She admitted that she was the source and is now denying she said it? Typical RAT! To Leavenworth for a long period of memory lessons-say 20 years.
"The administration wasn't matching its deeds to its words in the war on terrorism. They're making us less secure, not more secure," said Beers, who until now has remained largely silent about leaving his National Security Council job as special assistant to the president for combating terrorism. "As an insider, I saw the things that weren't being done. And the longer I sat and watched, the more concerned I became, until I got up and walked out."
