WASHINGTON (AP) -- Sen. Russ Feingold, a potential 2008 presidential candidate, said Monday he will travel to Iowa this week to hold fundraisers for Democratic congressional candidates and give a speech.
Iowa's caucus is the first contest for presidential candidates.
Feingold, D-Wis., plans to deliver a speech at the University of Iowa on Friday, when he will focus on his resolution to censure President Bush for the administration's eavesdropping program. Feingold then plans to hold a fundraiser for congressional candidate Dave Loebsack.
On Saturday, after speaking at several congressional district conventions, he'll hold a fundraiser for congressional candidate Selden Spencer.
"Here We Go" Ping! ;)
Take that Iowa!
The thing is Edwards, Bayh, Warner, and Richardson will all try to run as "centist" Dems, Kerry and Him will battle for the left, and Hillary will try to tiprope the middle.
"A large pile of *donkey droppings* said Monday it would travel to Iowa this week . . "
But, how could this be? What is this thing called, love?
We are being overrun with candidates. Warner here at the end of last week, Frist here today. Edwards early last week. Rudy next Monday.
Another bright one for the Dems:
"I am one of the least partisan members of the United States Senate by all accounts." Russ Feingold
And don't come back!
I thought that I saw him going down the road on a driving lawn mower.
ROFLOLOL
Can we get a picture of that?
