I don't - and I'm not blaming you for simply pointing it out - I just don't think Republicans should be protesting or actively doing anything that will damage him or the Party.

"I just don't think Republicans should be protesting or actively doing anything that will damage him or the Party."

Then you agree Bush shouldn't be making that speech.

it is Bush that is destroying his own administration and the Republican Party, as well as America.

People are trying to stop him from his wreckage but he refuses to listen.

Had to read this three times. Is it your contention that real Republicans should not point it out to our elected representatives and president when they stray from conservative principles? That we should keep donating to the RNC and giving our time to campaigns so that we get the exact same results that the Dims promise and deliver? Someone is way off base in their assumptions. The conservative base is not stupid. Party loyalists that do not research any further than the party line are dangerous.

Are we not supposed to be the party of 'accountability"? We knocked the libs for not owning up. We who don't agree with Bush on this particular issue are not the ones who are damaging the party. Have you noticed our party is not listening to the 'average' American? That doesn't mean we'll let another Dem step in 'o8. On the contrary we'll be there as patriotic as ever, even if the GOP has let us down.
