WASHINGTON -- Senator Edward M. Kennedy said yesterday that if fellow Massachusetts Democrat John F. Kerry makes another bid for the presidency in 2008, he would again back him.

"If he runs, I'm supporting him," Kennedy said in an appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press."

With Kennedy's help, Kerry won the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004, but lost the race to President Bush.

Kerry said last week he was taking a hard look at making another run for the White House in 2008 and intended to make a decision near the end of the year.

There isn't much left of the Kennedy organization these days, but such as it is, they're keeping their distance from the clintons.

Kennedy is now completely lost in an alcoholic fog.

Oh, I don't know. Having Teddy's endorsement is the kiss of death to my mind :)

Seems like the US has 2 choices: Kerry or Hillary.

I'd rather take Kerry, at least he knows how a rifle works.

Makes perfect sense. Hillary going right and JFK tacking to the looney left. He can't grab the middle and she can't nab the left.

Ya know, Hillary Clinton may be quite scary, but Kerry absolutely gives me nightmares beyond the pale of shivery.

It will be so great to see them go after each others throats...

""If he runs, I'm supporting him," Kennedy said"

- Figures. A drunken murdering slob supporting an obnoxious communist traitor and a boob. I guess it’s true what they say of "birds of the feather". In this case it's two dodo's.

"It will be so great to see them go after each others throats..."

- I would to, but unfortunately, should it start to happen, the MSM will suddenly rediscover hidden truths in the Swiftboat allegations and shut Kerry down quicker than they did to Dr. Demento.
It must be remembered that the MSM will allow nothing or no one to stand in the way of Hitlery's coronation in 2008.
Many in the "old media" have prided themselves over the years as being the real kingmakers behind whoever was selected to be President.
As public opinion shifted to the right, they have resorted to out and out dirty tricks to try and regain their influence.
First, in 2000 we had their call that Gore had won Florida even before the polls there had closed and, in 2004 we had their phony exit poll results predicting a Kerry landslide. Both these moves were designed to discourage Republican voters to not vote and/or to influence voters in States where the polls had not yet closed to vote Democrat.
Coincidences? I don't think so.
