I was well aware that Tony has been mentioned as a front-runner for the job, but this is the first news I've seen of an actual *offer*. I'm sure someone will let me know if I missed something...

Tony Snow has stated he would need to consider his family, health, etc., which sounds like it has been offered.
If we assume he wants the job, he would still need to not seem too eager. This accomplished, I'll bet it is announced tomorrow morning.

That "Courting the Press" thing has got to go. It's like they want to manipulate the terms of the job right off the bat. If they present themselves in a civilized manner I'm sure Mr. Snow will extend them a welcoming response.
