The Republicans are never more conservative than when they're in the minority.

For conservatives to continue voting for them, hoping they'll start acting like conservatives after each election, is the definition of insanity.

I am rejecting that insanity this time. If the Republican Party fails to change, if they continue to sell this nation down the tubes, I will stop supporting them.

In Oklahoma, the two parties have successfully shut out 3rd parties, so I cannot vote for a Constitution Party candidate. Therfore, my reaction will be to stay home on election day.

Funny thing is, the Reps think they & Bush need to be more liberal to be popular. They are so wrong. They would win over many if they behaved like conservatives. STILL, I'll vote Rep. VERY unhappy with many things, VERY happy with many things. The illegals in the streets really freaked me out. Same with the spending, but the Dems won't let em cut anything (and many of the Reps are Dems in disguise, spendingwise). Off to bed. Take care everyone.

"The Republicans are never more conservative than when they're in the minority."

Probably true. But we don't just want "conservative," we want them to make a difference. If we had a Rat Senate, Alito wouldn't be on the Supreme Court. A RINO would have that seat.

And that's exactly what will happen with the next SCOTUS vacancy if the Rats win the Senate. Maybe even if they gain a couple of seats.
