Juan tried to defend McCarthy on "free speech" grounds. He also all but accused Bill Kristol of breaching his security oath and obligations when Kristol was in gov't service: "Are you saying that you never leaked classified information?"

Juan was given multiple opportunities to clarify (i.e. change) his statements, but he persisted. Of course, the left does not understand honor or duty.
At the end of the segment, Chris Wallace said, "Please address all of your letters and emails to Juan Williams . . ."
This 60 minutes hit piece is making my blood boil. Lincoln would've taken Bradley and locked him up.

Listened a bit while doing other things..because my SO wants to watch the segment on aging.
Who was this shifty eyed guy saying that stupid stuff...which has been discredited so many times but apparently not by the drive by MSM.
I can just hear Judge Judy shouting at him to look up and look her straight in the eye.. .both of which he was not doing. He sounded set up and fake...unlike the smooth sophisticated operator Wilson. What a snake!
My uncle was interviewed by 60 minutes, in one of the presentations on Geronimo Pratt. After 45 minutes of discussion about the jail house murders and drug running instigated by Geronimo Pratt, how his lawyer, Johnny Cochran, brought in drugs and weapons for him, the topic switched to how did he do his work. GP was a pot and pan washer. "He's ok, but he misses spots."
All that got on the air was "He's ok." with a fabricated question.
Last time I watched that show. Last time I watched CBS.
I saw it too, could not believe it. Williams is far out but I didn't think that far. Everyone on the show couldn't believe it either.

It really was funny watching the reactions of others as Juan tried to explain his idiotic hallucination. Even my totally apolitical wife was amazed. "Look at everyone rolling their eyes!" One brief shot had Brit with his forehead in his hand.
I directed my email to Wallace and said Williams should be replaced.

He said then that he concluded the Niger intelligence was based on documents that had clearly been forged because "the dates were wrong and the names were wrong." Wilson told the panel he may have been confused and may have "misspoken" to reporters. The documents -- purported sales agreements between Niger and Iraq -- were not in U.S. hands until eight months after Wilson made his trip to Niger. Wilson's reports to the CIA added to the evidence that Iraq may have tried to buy uranium in Niger, although officials at the State Department remained highly skeptical, the report said. Wilson said that a former prime minister of Niger, Ibrahim Assane Mayaki, was unaware of any sales contract with Iraq, but said that in June 1999 a businessman approached him, insisting that he meet with an Iraqi delegation to discuss "expanding commercial relations" between Niger and Iraq -- which Mayaki interpreted to mean they wanted to discuss yellowcake sales. A report CIA officials drafted after debriefing Wilson said that "although the meeting took place, Mayaki let the matter drop due to UN sanctions on Iraq." According to the former Niger mining minister, Wilson told his CIA contacts, Iraq tried to buy 400 tons of uranium in 1998.

I also caught Juan Williams rant......''No oath of office or pledge of secrecy should be kept, if a person dealing with classified or secret information doesn't like the policy of the administration EVEN DURING WAR!...........That dopey Juan could've just simplified the whole thing by stating this instead........''No Democratic operative that works for the CIA should be kept to any pledge of secrecy when dealing with classified information if that information will bring down a sitting president during war time that she hates and despises and will install Democrats in 2006 and 2008! And as for the so called ''War on terror'' Who cares?!
