I may be wrong, but I'm not convinced that if another 09/11 event took place in the U.S. today, that people in Iraq would be dancing in the streets. I do beleive that some would of course, but I think the vast majority would not.

When I reference Al Jazeera not airing Laden's rantings, I'm not suggesting they should come out against him. I do think that would be pushing it. By simply not airing his rantings they would be allowing him to fade into the sunset, a failed leader who has cost tens of thousands of his adherants their lives. By airing his rantings, Al Jazeera is ensuring that tens of thousands more will meet the same fate.

Newspapers in our nation should be above some things, no matter their political leanings. The same should be true in the Middle-East.

Al Jazeera should be supportive of Moslems. It's a reality that comes with the territory. Should they be supportive of terrorism and terrorists? I don't think you have to be a westerner to say no.

I can't say that you are wrong. I am simply saying that there is an alternative view, that I think could be rationally supported in deference to Al Jazeera's current policy. I'd like to see them wake up to that reality.
