Jean Francois Cheri is appealing to the moonbat crowd. They're the ones most invested in an American defeat in Iraq. So Kerry wants to ride on the backs on American soldiers to the Oval Office just like he did after Vietnam. He was almost elected President. Keep reminding yourself he nearly pulled it off despite his utter deficiencies.

Some other "truths" in John's world:
1) Robbing one man's earnings and giving it to another man is "fair";
2) "Marriage" is the union of anyone to anything;
3) Discrimination against whites is "social justice";
4) Destroying a child in the womb is a "choice";
5) Receiving a band-aid in a war zone is worthy of a Purple Heart.
Feel free to make additions....

"If Iraqis aren't willing to build a unity government in the five months since the election, they're probably not willing to build one at all," Kerry said.
Just like Gore..Kerry's timing is extremely poor...Kerry restates the above and lo and behold...the Iraqi reach another milestone by coming up with a government. Two points to make here....Our OWN country took how many years to come up with a constitution???? a president???
Second point...there is no doubt in my mind that Kerry and the rest of the Democratic party have put our country at risk because of they would rather treat Bush as an enemy (and regain power) than unite behind our war effort in Iraq. Iran would NOT be speaking as it does if it did not hear the Democrats paint Bush as a bigger enemy than Iran. By showing such disunity at home on such an important thing as foreign policy and war, the Dems are aiding our enemies. Look at the number of Democrats who write to Bush saying, "Don't attack Iran" everytime that Iranian whack-job threatens the region AND our country! Such Democratic rhetoric will embolden Iran! My only hope is that by Novemeber, the AMerican people see the 'Rats for what they are.

Wartime dissent that consists of demonetizing those doing the bleeding and dieing is not patriotic by any definition...except by those who hate our country. He can try to rationalize his behavior anyway he wants, but, the fact remains he is a traitor.

And yet not ONE democrat has proposed a bill to end funding for Iraq. Shaddup and keep doing nothing but bitchin, you're less dangerous to our country that way.

Right John, will that be one of your 08 slogans? "One man's traitor, is another man's patriot" ???

"I believed then, just as I believe now, that it is profoundly wrong to think that fighting for your country overseas and fighting for your country's ideals at home are contradictory or even separate duties," he said. "They are, in fact, two sides of the very same patriotic coin."
Our countries "ideals" that they're fighting for:
-Everything that goes wrong in the world is America's fault
-People from other countries have every right to come over in
enormous numbers, break out laws, and take whatever they
want because it's unfair that we have it and they don't
-The UN having sovereignty over our government, a world
court have authority over our citizens, and world-wide
welfare state sponsored by our taxes
-Teaching children that traditional American values are
fascist and that "multiculturalism" is better

And Kerry has such a proven track record as a whiz at foreign policy....like when Mr "Winter Soldier" told Senator Fulbright et al that fighting communism was impossible, so why stay in Vietnam.

I'm getting sick of the dissent is patriotism/isn't patriotism dichotomy.
Dissent, because you think that current government policy is leading to the failure of the nation will lead to failure is patriotic. However, dissent because you hope your nation will fail is not.
I leave it as an exercise to the reader to decide which type of dissent they think John Kerry and other, individual anti-war activists are engaged in, because it's often not a cut-and-dried determination
