My guess is that they are "hoping" it will go away. Your Mom is using a tactic that I used to use with my kids. I tried to convince them that it was "nothing", hoping that they would believe me enough to make it nothing. Moms don't want their kids to be sick. Go to the Dr.

Do you not have a doctor locally that you can go to if not I would go to I think you call it ER we call it A & E (Accident and Emergency) or the old fashioned term causality.
