Poll: Mexicans Say U.S. is Racist

A new poll on Mexican attitudes towards the U.S. debate on illegal immigration has found that a large plurality of those surveyed say Americans who favor tighter border security are "racist."

The survey, co-sponsored by the Dallas Morning New and Mexico's El Universal newspaper, found that the largest segment of respondents - 43 percent - cited racism as the chief reason that Americans oppose illegal immigration.

A much smaller number - 16 percent - said U.S. citizens are most concerned about law enforcement. Just 14 percent think Americans are not racist, but fear being overrun by foreign cultures.

"Yes, it's true about racism," said Gloria Vázquez Solache, 59, a Mexico City resident who was among those polled. "They humiliate our countrymen and even burn Mexican flags. Fear of a 'foreign culture' is nonsense."

The same poll found that 76 percent of Mexicans think that crossing into the U.S. illegally should not be a crime. 79 percent of Mexicans want illegals already in the US to be legalized.

Mexicans are the racists- Thiy refer to themselve as la raza- the race. Also they are hypocrits since foreigners have no rights in their country. They understand that Mexico is a country to benefit Mexicans- Try getting social security or free medical care or free tuition there.

Sometime around 1515 A.D., give or take three years.

In 1511, fifteen Spanish sailors were shipwrecked in Yucatan and captured by the local Mayas. A few of the Spaniards were served for dinner, others died but two of them survived, including one Gonzalo Guerrero who became a military advisor to a Mayan chieftain, married a rich Mayan woman and had children with her.

When Cortez landed in Cozumel, he heard about these two Spanish survivors and sent messengers inviting them to join him. One survivor joined Cortez and became a translator for his expedition. However, Guerrero declined to rejoin Spanish society saying, "Look at my beautiful children, look at my beautiful wife. And how could I ever go back to Spain looking as I do?" He'd been extensively tattooed by then, in recognition of his achievements on the battlefield.

Guerreos children were the first Mexican Mestizos (people of mixed European and indigenous non-European ancestry).

Over the centuries, Spaniards in Mexico married frequently with Indian wives producing more Mestizos.

Today, Mexico's population is approximately 60% Mestizo, 30% pure Indian and 9% white.

The Mexicans consider the Mestizo to be "the Mexican race" (La Raza), consider Guerrero's children to be "The First Mexicans" and consider Guerrero to be "El Padre del Mestizaje".........literally, "The Father of the Mestizo Race". (Which beats the hell out of being "The First Spanish Food".)

truth about mexican immigration much to the sadness of la raza is this: it will end within 20 years. 20 years from now not only wil there be no immigration from mexico illegal or otherwise, but there will probably be significant immigration from europe.

In 1970 mexican fertiltiy rate was 7.0
In 1980 it was 5.0
Today it is 2.45 (lower than the US's in 1970)and by 2015 it will be 2.15 (about the same as the US today)

The reason there is such large illegal immigration is that those who are coming were born at a time when the birth rate in mexico was high, it isnt anymore. In 10 years mexico birth rate will be barely above replacement. When today baby in mexico enter the labor force in 20 years, the growth rate of mexico labor force will be 1/2 that of today.

the immigration problem will last another 10-15 years, then it could actually reverse itself.

Back in the mid 70's I was living in San Antonio. I was listenig to WOAI and the DJ asked a question: are blondes dumb?

After a while it became obvious that every single person who called and had a mexican sounding accent said they were stupid.

Now I don't think for a minute they really thought all blondes, who would be White of course, are stupid. It was simply a way to express their envy and hatred of Whites.

Those stamps remind me of how racist Spanish language TV is. The only black faces you see on Mexican nightime soaps are drug dealers and maids. I once saw a musical act on Univision sing a song with the lyrics, "Black man. You think you're cool, but you're ugly. You look like a monkey."
Sabado Gigante has only a white host, co-host and scantily clad female hostesses. On news shows, the news readers are all white. No "people of color." The talk show hosts are all white women. Not one host looks like Oprah.
