I've lived here for 31 years. They've been working on some stretch of I-35 between Dallas and Denton ever since I rolled into town and it still can't handle the traffic it needs to.
I'll be surprised if this thing ever gets built.

And the same for I-45 south of Dallas down towards Corsicana... The available money/budget allows for a six to eight mile stretch at a time.
