They should ban the bulk sale of cigarettes also. Twenty in a pack is outrageous.

"Bulk" sales = 2 handguns or more.
(Could someone please post the doctors vs. guns calculation? And send a copy to these students?)

So what's the definition of "bulk" gun sales? The statement made moved from that word to "multiple".... Does that mean Mr. Joe who shoots ITPA and decides it's time for a couple of new guns for his shooting - and wants to buy two at the same time, that would be "bulk"???
Liberals love to use language against us..... In this case, they are trying to make it sound like folks are buying van-loads of handguns....but watch out, they already let slip that it's just "multiple" hangun purchases they are trying to stop. Next will be multiple within a time window...a day, week, month, year, decade, lifetime? Where does it end?

Imagine its 1812 and the British are capturing American civilians and forcing them to serve in the British Navy
1st Seaman: Run to hold and get the muskets, they are boarding
2nd seaman: We've only got one musket
1st Seaman: WTF?
2nd Seaman: Some medical students said we shouldn't ever buy more than one gun.

I am relieved to see that "law enforcement authorities" have determined how many handguns I can buy at one time without being sucked into the nefarious world of gun running! I really worry about that a lot. Why won't the gubment save me from my darkest impulses???? Why why why?

To doctors in training: stick to learning how to practice medicine. Leave the rest of us TF alone.

Gonna be hard on Police Departments to do a sidearm replacemet program at the rate of one gun a month.

How many people died for the 2nd Amendment?
You know, the American Revolution began when the British tried to seize the Colonist's guns.
Those that don't know history are doomed to repeat it.

will be available for comment in the Capitol Rotunda at 11 a.m., where a gathering is planned to mark Victim's Rights WeekThey pretty much just posted a neon sign to all armed crack addicts that a bunch of extremely rich unarmed people are going to be gathering in mass with no way to defend them selves if someone who has no money wants to take all thiers

I hope these students have fun looking for jobs in PA. Per another FR thread PA is losing physicians by the thousands.
To: kiriath_jearim
IIRC, doctors kill Americans three times more often than do firearms. We should ban medical students instead.

Wonder how many of these followers of Hippocrates will wind up performing multiple abortions [based on a most threadbare Constitutional rationale, as opposed to the 2nd Amendment] with a pristine conscience? Bet they'll kill more people in a day than I have in my life [zero, and I've owned guns for thirty years, and handled them a lot longer], and never see the contradiction, or their own hypocrisy.

"As physicians in training, we are directly confronted by the results of handgun violence..." Seems to me if the idiots are really concerned about violence, that they would want to ban it no matter the type of weapon employed. Perhaps they would not look to be such fools if they would announce they were searching for a cure for human greed.

As physicians in training, we are directly confronted by the results of handgun violence and are deeply concerned about the health of our patients Doesn't sound like they are too concerned about their 'patient's' ability to protect themselves. Stick to subjects you know about doc, like doling out aspirin. Incidentally, you should learn someone is not a patient until they ask for your advice.
