Illegals ... influence federal policy, laws and legislation that undermines our economy, lowers our standards of living and destroys the American dream, said Wingrove of Spring Hill. They are destroying our republic.

One has to wonder if this election will be determined by illegals voting illegally.

The politicians won't listen to the voters. They'll go back to pandering to the illegals like nothing has changed.

Illegal aliens are not destroying our republic; politicians, judges, lawyers, and felon employers are.

Until we change them, the attraction for illegals will remain.

One of my senators, John-I'm Ted Kennedys buddy-Warner always glosses over the subject of them being illegal as he pushes for amnesty. He has to go!

This particular incident is good news, but what does a voter do when all candidates look the other way regarding illegal invaders? Stay home or write in 'Lone Wolf McQuade' or something? These are the races for which patriots need to rise up and register.

It is obvious that nobody read this article. It should have a barf alert.

The jest of the article is that Americans want amnesty for the illegal aliens.

The Republican party is done... you can stick a fork in them. Between their abject failure to control the border, their ridiculous spending spree in congress, the increasing burden on the middle class, their Medicare prescription drug bill and Bush's endless wet kiss with Mexico's Fox... they're DONE.

I have sent letters to those in Congress and the general response is: "We're looking into this... American people... secure... american dream... blah... blah... (time for golf)..."

I am tired of 'offering suggestions'. Even the biggest signal sent in years, the formation of the Minutemen, hasn't sunk in (they're "vigilantes" according to our president). I'm telling you my friends, NOTHING will be done about the border unless we flatly threaten these people with losing their jobs. Tell them straight up: If you don't solve this you'll be leaving Washington DC. I am SICK of getting raped by the IRS every single year but getting no representation in DC.

It's time to play hard ball. That is the ONLY thing they will understand. There has been enough talking and 'discussion'. Threaten them with real consequences. Get it done or get the hell out of the way.

"Putnam and Harris, who both voted for the House bill, acknowledge that the House bill only addresses part of the problem - border security." More lib lies.

HR 4437 deals with all 3 segments of the problem: border security, interior enforcement, criminal employers.

I'm sorry this group is just a minority of malcontents. The latest Zogby poll says so.

"It's one of the most divisive issues that Congress has to deal with, but it does cut across party lines," said Sharon Hughes, executive vice president of the National Council of Agriculture Employers. "You just don't know who's going to be on what side of the issue."

The republican Pols are just not smart enough to see the opportunity in this mess.

If republicans enact legislation like H.R. 4437 that secures the border, punishes employers, demands that illegals return to their home country, etc. all the republicans will vote for them, a significant number of democrats will vote for them and about 40% of the hispanics of whatever party will vote for them.

Oh yes you do. There are those who believe in the rule-of-law, national sovereignty and the Constitution and then there are the anything-for-buck Country Club elitists who worship money above all else.

The Vietnam War veteran railed for five minutes Tuesday at a town hall meeting at Brooksville City Hall about the need for tougher security at U.S. borders. When he was done, the audience erupted in applause.

Noooo, this isn't gonna be a big issue this year FROBL's, not at all. Mmmmmm, good kool-aid!

Secure the border!

Crack down on employers!
(The dog-and-pony show catch-and-release won't cut it either.)

No anchor babies!

Deport illegal aliens.

Bring in immigrants who have been waiting for years with papers in hand!

Nothing else will do.
