In essence that's $7,000 on behalf of the Kerry campaign, for it's a sure bet that she was giving the $5K to the Ohio Democratic Party at the behest of an email request from the DNC or the Kerry camp. She really wanted John "Vichy" Kerry in the WH, didn't she? How many "career civil servants" feel they can afford that kind of outlay in one year's election campaign?? (and her husband gave at least $2K as well, I saw elsewhere)

So what does it all mean? Will it help the Republicans? Will the press run with it?

Don't mean to sound so pesimistic but how is this different to every scandal Clinton suffered that we all thought would be the end of him?

This story is too compicated for the general public and she is still a hero to the left, if not a martyr.

The Chicago Tribune is now saying that many gov't officials are "unofficially" saying it was McCarthy.
