Just breaking on Fox...

No details, but the agent was caught dead to rights leaking....

Update: CIA Officer Fired for Leaking Classified Info to Media

WASHINGTON — A CIA officer has been relieved of his duty after being caught leaking classified information to the media.

CIA officials will not reveal the officer's name, assignment, or the information that was leaked. The firing is a highly unusual move, although there has been an ongoing investigation into leaks in the CIA.

One official called this a "damaging leak" that deals with operational information and said the fired officer "knowingly and willfully" leaked the information to the media and "was caught."

Shouldn't 'journalists' disclose their husband's anti-war activist status?! Especially, if the husband is signing something to 'protect whistleblowers' who just happen to be leaking operational intelligence to the husband's 'journalist' wife?!

I never understood what a bunch of *hores these people were until GOOGLING them. What an incestuous bunch. I now realize they don't keep their maiden names for nothing. It's easier to hide who they really are when 'reporting' biased information.

Didn't Bernstein come out before this CIA agent was fired...with an article calling for Bush's impeachment or something??

Hi Sleuth. I saw Bernstein on I think, Hardball a couple of days ago ranting about something like that, but was surfing thru and I don't listen to "I'm-jealous-'cause-Bob-W.-gets-more-attention-and-money-than-I-do" Carl, so I couldn't say for sure.

I don't know what makes Bernstein think we should listen to him. It's not like he isn't a hateful rabid leftist who just happened to get lucky 'reporting' on Watergate.

Senate Hearings on Bush, Now
By CARL BERNSTEIN

In this VF.com exclusive, a Watergate veteran and Vanity Fair contributing editor calls for bipartisan hearings investigating the Bush presidency. Should Republicans on the Hill take the high road and save themselves come November?

The commentary ends like this, "We may never know if the entire story about detention centers turned out to be a smoke screen intended to reveal a leak. We certainly have no evidence beyond the McCarthy leak and Priest's story. If it does turn out to be nothing more than misinformation for a leak probe, the Washington Post and the Pulitzer Committee will look very foolish indeed."

LOL .. A possible rope a dope

I'll betcha there a bunch of reporters sweating right about now

Any chance you two could get a team of people from the Myers-Briggs/personality profiles list to help with cataloging some of this information?

We've got a ton of folks pulling good stuff off the internet and starting to connect some nauseating dots, but the info will be more useful of we can create some visuals for networks/people/organizations/cash flow as this roach nest is uncovered.

Thanks for any help or guidance you can share. :-)

CIP was founded thirty years ago to advance a liberal, internationalist agenda. Executive director Bill Goodfellow, who has led a number of successful campaigns

Wonder what connections he has with Fonda, Kerry and Ramsey Clark??

In a campaign reminiscent of the successful effort twenty years ago to block Reagan's anti-human rights appointee Ernest Lefever to be Assistant Secretary of State for Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs, the Center for International Policy, the Institute for Policy Studies and the Washington Office on Latin America, among others, are mobilizing to stop the nomination and are confident they can win. "With so much muck connected to his name and his past," suggests CIP director William Goodfellow, "Reich is an inviting target to show that the Democrats are not dead."

Public records also show that Ms. McCarthy contributed $5,000 in October 2004 to the Ohio Democratic Party.

That is really weird. Not to mention being a spook must pay better than I thought.

sort of watching Beltway Boys - they finally mention the leak of classified info which becomes a Pulitzer at 23 min after 6. They did not use any name in their segment except "Valerie Plame." What are the Beltway Boys afraid of?

Whose Side Is the Post On? Or Better Yet, Whose Side is the CIA on?

Today the Post notes the brewing trouble for Dana Priest and the Washington Post. There really is a war going on, folks. You really can't disclose agent identities, locations and so on. You just might get someone killed.

snip

Dana Priest is married to William Goodfellow, who is director of the "Center for Interntional Policy", which has people like Mel Goodman, (former CIA analyst and State Department Analyst working for it). Goodman goes on pacifica radio and says things like "George Tenet said to the President, ‘Oh, that's a slam dunk, Mr. President. If you want phony intelligence, I can get it for you.’

Of course, Goodman made up the part about "making up phony intelligence".

The Center also has a new initiative to revise the CIA. Among its goals: reverse the "militarization" of the intelligence community. And to stop the appointment of a CIA intelligence czar, and to keep intelligence analysis from being centralized.

That is the real story here: What in the world has gotten into the CIA? What connections does the CIA have to the Post, or Post reporters? After all those years of seeing Hollywood movies about plots by the CIA to overthrow our own government, here they are - some in the CIA seem to be working along those lines. And the Washington Post knows this, and does nothing.

If I recall correctly .. wasn't Otto Reich blocked by Senator Dodd's aid .. who is a HUGE Castro supporter

Can't remember her name .. Janice ????

Her name came up during the Estrada hearings .. or Janice Rodger Brown's hearing .. can't remember which one

I'm thinking it was Estrada

I just remember he was tick about his and that appointment being railroaded

I've heard now twice today the attempt to smear Condi for leaking, and her quick response that it's not so. Now, Abby Lowell has apparently subpoenaed her in the AIPAC case

This is how they work .. make everyone the same .. then no one can claim any moral highground.
