Just breaking on Fox...
No details, but the agent was caught dead to rights leaking....
Update: CIA Officer Fired for Leaking Classified Info to Media
WASHINGTON A CIA officer has been relieved of his duty after being caught leaking classified information to the media.
CIA officials will not reveal the officer's name, assignment, or the information that was leaked. The firing is a highly unusual move, although there has been an ongoing investigation into leaks in the CIA.
One official called this a "damaging leak" that deals with operational information and said the fired officer "knowingly and willfully" leaked the information to the media and "was caught."
Here is an interersting tidbit from the Wash Times article for Sat Morning. (7th Paragraph)
Citing the Privacy Act, the CIA would not disclose any details about the officer's identity or what she might have told the press. However, a law-enforcement official confirmed there was a criminal leaks investigation under way, but it did not involve the fired CIA officer.

With luck alot of this gambit is being exposed..I believe Mcarthy was in the IG office of the Agency and therefore played a role in the referral letter on the Libby case which had to be a pack of lies.
Thanks! Good work.
Thanks for the corroboration. :-)
We Always Knew Dems Were Treasonous, but Jesus Christ, people!!!!
It's out in the OPEN now...
No accusations, no lies, it's now documented PROOF that Libs/Dems put PARTY over Country, and will even get soldiers KILLED for short-term political gains.........
This is THE BIG ONE, that shoots down the Entire Great Liberal Lie!!!
I agree!
Democrats cannot be trusted with national security.
HAH! Another great quote from one of my favorite episodes!
The criminal referral and related documents simply bear no relationship to the perjury and false statement offenses charged in the indictment. The author of the referral, a CIA attorney, will not be a government witness, the referral does not summarize statements made by persons who will be government witnesses, and the referral occurred well before defendants alleged commission of the crimes charged in the indictment.
He used to be a FReeper.
He just got pissed off at everyone and left.
Well...he's still lurking I guess.
Hi Matt.
Berger, Wilson, Clarke See post below (note date)
The vintage (maybe under investigation) media are priceless .. Here (what a difference a day makes ;) ..
" When E&P asked Priest, who also won an OPC award, about Bennett's comments before the dinner, she replied, "He says we should go to jail because we have damaged national security, but he hasn't made the case that we have actually damaged national security. So either we didn't damage national security and this is part of a campaign to intimidate the media into not reporting things, or he knows something that is classified" -- which he shouldn't -- "and he's in the same boat we are."
Dan Rather, the former CBS anchor, told E&P that "an integral part" of the media's role in America is to dig out "what is important for the public to know, what someone doesn't want them to know. The last thing we need is a timid press. To meet the challenges you need a fiercely independent press."
Brian Williams hailed the Pulitzer-winning probes, saying this latest round "is going to spur an interest in working for the media," somewhat like what happened after Watergate. "These are great examples of great journalism that will spur young people to do it as a career."

If anyone's up, another rogue group is on CSpan-2 now discussing this WH and security (CIA) .. PRE-McCarthy outing. Another group of smug anti-Bush twirps.
So the Democrats now have their Keynote speaker for their 2008 Convention. The Party of Treason's latest hero. A CIA offical who leakes a completely fraudelent story to the press
