Hoover police arrest one of Texas’ 10 most wanted

Hoover police said today a man they arrested Tuesday for drug offenses and an outstanding warrant is one of the 10 most wanted fugitives in Texas.

Police found Pablo Hinojosa Longoria, 32, of Bessemer in a van in the parking lot of the River Oaks Village shopping center in Hoover about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, Assistant Police Chief A.C. Roper said.

Police saw open beer bottles and a small amount of marijuana in the van and discovered Longoria had an outstanding felony warrant from Austin, Texas, Roper said.

Further investigation revealed Longoria was on the Texas Ten Most Wanted Violent Offenders list.

He has at least one outstanding murder charge and is a suspect in several other murder cases along the Texas/Mexico border, Roper said.

Longoria was in the Hoover Jail today.

As far as I can tell, this is another low-life scum of which we have many flavors and colors in the U.S. There's nothing to tell me that he's an illegal alien, which is my only previous correspondence with you. Sooo, I can only assume you are pinging me because he is Hispanic as am I. I can't believe FR tolerates such behavior, so please do not ping me in the future unless it is in direct reply to a post I've made. Thank you.

Bet I know what Russ and Dee will be chatting about on their Birmingham morning show tomorrow.

Have you heard any further info on the wreck that killed the pregnant mom last Sunday? It seems like the Bham News is covering up again.

Hispanics are officially classified as Caucasian, which is interpreted as "white". As far back as U.S. Census records run, my ancestors were classified as "W".

The Mexican who rode the rails and murdered 18 people, after raping the women, is on death row and should be executed later this year. But Vicente Fox is protesting that this fine citizen of his should not be put to death in Texas. What a curse for Texas to have Mexico as its neighbor with slime like this coming into our state by the hundreds.

Statistically, it is IMPOSSIBLE to a Mexican to commit a hate-crime against a black man, or anyone else, for that matter.

Instead, when a Mexican screams a nasty epithet while beating or stabbing a black man to death, that would be counted as a WHITE MAN committing a hate crime against a black man.

At least that was true 3 years ago.

I do not know official motives for this statistical curiosity.

What comments about law and order? If you're referring to my tagline, that's a slap at our do-nothing Congress and Admin regarding unabated illegal immigration.

He and his wife live in Shelby County. He started as a street cop there and moved up. His younger brother is a Bama State Trooper up near Gadsden, where their mom and dad live in Southside.
