And she is also STUPID! She emails students...that she is supposedly trying to "protect"..and implicates them. She basically "outs" them...not that they will be charged. That sounds doubtful. But she should have been fired for just being stupid.

Actually, from this article it isn't totally clear that she did lose her job. It says she "resigned". Later in the article it states that her teaching duties have been reassigned to other staff members and in the final sentence it says that she warns the pro-abortion students to stay away from her office. Sounds like she still works at the university but isn't teaching for the rest of the semester. She still has an office and they are probably just hoping the furor dies down by next semester. Either that or she'll just do research work and not teach.

I agree. Go after the students too, they were old enough to know better. Why the kid gloves? These aren't six year olds. Although my daughter was better behaved at 3 than these creeps.

Actually, it seems like the same kind of proper thinking that bars university professors and other staff from dating college students over 18 years of age. The authority figure has leverage.

These displays are pure melodrama; they convince no one. They change nothing. They exist only to spark "debate" (i.e. argument) between two groups of people who will never agree. They provide no information; they are "fighting words" and nothing more. Are the silly sods who put up this stupid display (while wiping their weepy eyes at the though of all dem kuuute widdle behbies) really suprised that someone called them on their theatrics? Dr. Jacobsen and her students answered ridiculous theatrics with cartoon violence. Again, good for them.
