"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
Good morning, Clint! We feel exactly the same way. If you were judging whether to take the jobs, there would be absolutely no PERSONAL reason--pay, heartache, family time, grief, being treated like a pinata--absolutely NO reason to take it. EXCEPT it would be best for the country and the party and maybe, just maybe, long-term for Tony. I wouldn't know how to make that decision except listen to my wife and let her tell me what to do.

Gee, did Keith get this exorcised when George Snuffelupagus went to ABC? Was he in a snit over CNN during the administration of zipper man? Somehow I don't think so. BTW, I'm sure there are only a million other examples that never bothered Mr. Olberman. He's just another reason why I'm glad I don't have cable or satellite. Wonder if I could get satellite with only 2 channels.........Fox News and HGTV.
