RITTMAN, Ohio -- There are unconfirmed reports of more than a dozen illegal immigrants under arrest in a small Wayne County community.
NewsChannel5 reported that up to 18 people may have been arrested at a Rittman business.
Witnesses said they noticed local and federal authorities gathering in a parking lot between 8 and 9 a.m. Wednesday. They said the agents then surrounded the business.
Authorities are being tight-lipped about the warehouse raid. The U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement Agency told NewsChannel5 that the arrests and detentions are part of an ongoing investigation.
More details are expected to be released Thursday.
