Pro-abortion students remove crosses from the display.
Would love to see her lose her pension and be charged criminally.
mega-kudos to the reporter who snapped her in the act..
Congratulations to the President of NKU. He, unlike many of his peers across the country, understands and appreciates the importance of a "free exchange of ideas".
Again, congrats to him, and I hope the people of Kentucky appreciate what a rare gem is he!
Libs really hate that ol' First Amendment...when they don't agree with what somebody has to say.
She is also listed as a Womens Studies professor.
Her home page has been removed. You have to used cache to find it.
She is trying to apologize to avoid criminal prosecution. She should be prosecuted for what she did.
She incited a riot, led a group of thugs on campus to trash a display that was sanctioned by the college (and the Constitution), and then lied about her activities to a reporter.
This is the photo she showed on her home page that was take several years ago.
What I find disturbing is her reasoning.
Any violence perpetrated against that silly display was minor compared to how I felt when I saw it. Some of my students felt the same way, just outraged, Jacobsen said.
Her feelings trump civility and law.
With reasoning like this, its no wonder our kids are loosing direction.
Oh, how these liberal fascists always want to MOOOOOOOOOOOVE ON...didn't they name a website and an entire organization around that tactic? :)
Don't let the doorknob hit you on the way out.
I'm entirely satisfied with this result.
Now I eagerly await further resignations at schools in Alabama {science-teacher and anti-President video}, Colorado {geography teacher and anti-President rant}, and South Dakota {"9/11 victims deserved what they got, and were just a buch of little Eichmanns.}
ping for the latest
"But their unborn babies? I don't give a damn about them."
"'Any violence perpetrated against that silly display was minor compared to how I felt when I saw it.'"
As with most members of the Far Left, she simply doesn't "get it"!
Her "violence" was not against the "silly display." It was against the principles and ideas of liberty embedded in our Constitution and its First Amendment.
She views "how I felt" when she "saw" crosses placed there by other citizens commemorating the untimely deaths of babies as a greater "violence" than her leading students in an act which trashed a most basic concept of our Constitution.
No apology here: just a defiant attempt to avoid justice.
Rabid liberals have become a caricature of themselves. There is nothing "liberal" about infringing on other person's liberty.
She should not be allowed to retire - she should be fired.

The liberals are out in full-force on that message board defending the criminal actions of this professor.
"Please don't take me to court," she pleaded. "I spent all my money on marijuana." /sarcasm
She loves the university and cares about her students, but doesn't give a rat's *** about the lives of slaughtered babies.
This woman admits to feelings of "violence" when she merely "saw" the display of white crosses, and she expects to be taken seriously as a teacher????
The President of the college should be honored as a hero for not succumbing to the tired old "academic freedom" argument which is used to tolerate the rantings of Radical Leftists on campuses throughout America!
