33-Year-Old Man Marries 104-Year-Old Woman(her 21st marriage)

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (May 1) - A 33-year-old man in northern Malaysia has married a 104-year-old woman, saying mutual respect and friendship had turned to love, a news report said Tuesday.
It was Muhamad Noor Che Musa's first marriage and his wife's 21st, according to The Star newspaper which cited a report in the Malay-language Harian Metro tabloid.
Muhamad, an ex-army serviceman said he found peace and a sense of belonging after meeting Wook Kundor, whom he said he initially sympathized with because she was childless, old and alone, the report said.
"I am not after her money, as she is poor," Muhamad reportedly said. "Before meeting Wook, I never stayed in one place for long."
He said he hoped to help his new bride to master Roman script while she taught him Islamic religious knowledge.
The report did not say if any of Wook's previous 20 husbands are still alive.
Malaysian Muslim men are allowed by their religion to take up to four wives at a time, but reports of women who marry more than once are rare. Muslim women do not practice polygamy.
Malaysia's 26 million population comprises about 60 percent Muslims, almost all ethnic Malays. Large ethnic Chinese and Indian minorities are Buddhists, Hindus or Christians.
These pictures.
Thanks, Cindy.
I don't think Vitolo and Shukrijumah are one and the same.

Books preaching jihad sold in Saudi
More warm support from our friend and ally. From UPI, with thanks to Bryce:
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, May 2 (UPI) -- Books inciting Saudi youth to enroll in holy war that include religious edicts condoning suicide bombing are being sold in bookstores.
Saudi daily al-Watan reported Tuesday that the books are being sold openly in bookshops in the city of Brida, north of the capital Riyadh, promising paradise for martyrs who come out to fight "infidels" by exploding themselves.
The books included edicts that inflame the emotions of young Muslims and encourage them to earn honors and virtue through martyrdom.
Some edicts also encourage suicide operations through extensive analysis of means and justification. Martyrdom was described as the highest expression of legitimate jihad, or holy war.
The paper said one of the books titled "Guideline for Soldiers in Jihad Mechanisms, a Summary of Jihad merit" was issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Education and Information in 1983 and published by a Baghdad publishing house.
The book, which stressed the necessity and merit of jihad, deals with liberation wars, conquest, army structures, military planning, arms and procurement of military equipment needed for mobilizing soldiers.
The book also comprises religious edicts regarding the results of jihad, or rules of war, including the division of spoils claimed by militants.

THANKS Velveeta.
I'll add that to my collection.
So...not 9/11 with 3,000+ murdered, not AQ terrorists, not illegals, not Iraqi's or Chinese recently caught crossing, not drug cartel's, not child molesters, not South American criminals, not kidnappers, not M-16 Gang Members, not human smugglers for the sex trade, not murders...and not the killer flu or any of the other known/unknown diseases can shut or borders.
Wow...really glad that so many Americans have fought and died for our freedoms. And now the illegal/criminals are marching by the thousands...on May 1st...along with all the other countries who march on May 1st to coincide with the Communist marches for May 1st. And now the MSM is hyping a television movie for sometime in the next week to show the millions who will die in a flu pandemic. Glad to see that our politicians are looking out for our welfare. Glad that we are spending billions in other countries, to help keep them safe.
I am really glad that there are true patriots like the Minutemen who are showing-up and have really brought our border problems into the harsh light of reality. I will be following the millions that were recently re-allocated by the Bush admin. to go toward border security.
I was happy to see a Wall Street Financial Analyst laughingly say in an interview this morning that this non-event yesterday was similar to a snow storm in the Northeast in the winter. Businesses may be closed for a day or two...but it doesn't really affect their bottom line financially...AT ALL! There were also stories here at FR and in newspapers about the highways in different areas like southern California where commuting was great without the illegal/criminals on the roads!
We need 'em for the present time until our politicians get off their tatas and DO SOMETHING about the "illegals" problem.....after all, the anti-American signs and banter about our land belonging to Atzlan are unifying legal Americans with disgust and disbelief this is happening in America by disrespectable non-citizens like nothing else has done in quite some time. Politicians best note: Our numbers are MUCH larger than their numbers!
This is the first bonafide confirmation of it. There is a reason that this transfer of Nasar was reported. I wonder if he was tortured in Pakistan while detained there, and I wonder if he is wearing panties on his head now if he is still in American custody!
Too bad all the reports of bin laden's past captures so far have not panned out. One day it will and I wonder when we will discover the full truth of it. I guess anything is possible in the world of psychops.

Snip: But according to one expert on Islam, the riots were incited by governments to manipulate both the West and the Muslim world for political purposes.
A Kassam a Day: Goal to hit power plants
Snip: In a progress report released by the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization, the group claims it fired 56 Kassam rockets at Israeli communities during the month of April.

Norovirus infects dozens of golf club diners in Sammamish
Snippets: A norovirus that often infects travelers on cruise ships sickened dozens of people who ate at the same private golf club in Sammamish over Easter weekend. Dawn McCutcheon said she got sick after she ate at the Plateau Golf Club. She ended up at the emergency room.

Nurse fined for not properly sterilizing surgical instrument
Snip: Anyone who has had gastric bypass surgery at Scripps Hospital in La Jolla may be at risk of having hepatitis or HIV, 10News reported.
For more than a year a nurse at Scripps La Jolla was not properly sterilizing a surgical instrument called a gastroscope. Nearly 300 patients who had surgery with that nurse are being offered blood-disease screening tests.
Leprosy in America - new cause for concern
Snippets: A new case of leprosy, also known as Hansens disease, is diagnosed somewhere in the world every 60 seconds, but in the United States outbreaks remain rare. Only about 130 new cases are discovered each year, mostly among immigrants from areas such as Mexico, India or the Caribbean, where the disease is more widespread.
Its creeping into the U.S., said Dr. William Levis, head of the New York Hansens Disease Clinic. This is a real phenomenon. Its a public health threat. New York is endemic now, and nobodys noticed.
Tracking leprosy among immigrants can be difficult, but leprosy is already endemic in Texas, and numbers are rising in New York and California--all states with high immigrant populations. Dr. Levis said he believes America could be on the brink of an epidemic similar to those that swept Brazil and led to the country becoming a global leprosy hotspot.
Snip: Israeli inspectors discovered a shipping container Tuesday destined for Gaza that contained 300 telescopes suitable for military rifles.
The container, shipped from China, was labeled as sewing notions, hats and clocks, Ynetnews.com reported. Instead, a scanner detected the telescopes, some of them equipped with sights and infrared markings.
Security tests begin at Waco airport
Snip: Starting today, the programs designers are using the airport to take pictures of 10,000 visitors over the next 30 days to assess the accuracy of a technology touted as the next frontier in preflight security for its potential to detect suspected terrorists. Howell calls it a test that could revolutionize the screening of airline passengers in the future.
No. Korea accuses US of 160 spy incidents in April
Snip: The North Koreans accused the United States for using U-2s to make daily shuttle flights over the DPRK's strategic targets through April, the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted a military source as saying.
I don't believe it is the same person either.
Thanks for the ping Velveeta, I have gone back to dig up my old archive on him from 2004. I will have to get back to work on it some more:

I agree with both of you.
I don't think it is the same person, either.
I played around with the name on various searches
and checked some other things after gardening today.
I'd need more info to change my mind on this.
Armadillos are the only animal besides humans that can get leprosy.

Yep.
Gangs claim their turf in Iraq [ They mean American gangs with members in the military ]
Chicago Sun Times ^ | May 1, 2006 | BY FRANK MAIN Crime Reporter
"A law enforcement source in Chicago said police see some evidence of soldiers working with gangs here. Police recently stopped a vehicle and found 10 military flak jackets inside. A gang member in the vehicle told investigators his brother was a Marine and sent the jackets home, the source said."
"Of paramount concern is whether gang-affiliated soldiers' training will make them deadly urban warriors when they return to civilian life and if some are using their access to military equipment to supply gangs at home, said Barfield and other experts."

"PAKISTAN: AL-QAEDA HAS DIRTY BOMB, REPORT SAYS"
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Islamabad, 2 May (AKI) - Osama bin Laden possesses a "dirty bomb" and nuclear devices bought on the Russian black market prior to 2001, according to Hamid Mir, the journalist who interviewed bin Laden shortly after the 11 September attacks. "Material useful for building a dirty bomb was smuggled from Russia to Georgia and then on to Afghanistan," Mir said in an interview with the website of satellite network al-Arabiya. He added that the device was built with various materials, including uranium, by an Egyptian engineer known as Saad. "I met this engineer only once, in 2000, when the Taliban controlled Kabul" he said.
In the interview, Mir also said the Saudi terror leader had changed his mind at the last minute on the idea of making one of the hijacked 11 September planes crash into a US nuclear plant.
The Pakistani journalist, also said he has precise and up-to-date information on how the Saudi terror leader lives.
"Last September I met the bodyguard of Osama Bin Laden, Abu Hamza, who told me that he had married an Afghan woman with whom he had three children. On the same day he told me of the death of one of Bin Laden's wives during childbirth in a mountainous zone where there were no doctors. It seemed that her death was not a major problem for bin Laden as death in childbirth is quite frequent among Afghan women," Mir recounted.
It is unclear to which of bin Laden's wives his bodyguard was referring, even if it seems probably it was the daughter of Abu Hafs al-Masri.
Abu Hamza al-Jazeeri - an Algerian who in 2003 was in Iraq but later returned to Afghanistan - also indicated that combatants go from Afghanistan to Iraq and back through Iran."
I don't usually post here but has anyone heard from Oorang? She hasn't posted since April 6 and hasn't answered FReepmail.

Mugabe Buys 10 Fighter Jets From Russia
ZimDaily ^ | April 27, 2006 | correspondent
Posted on 05/02/2006 9:33:27 PM PDT by Sundog
President Robert Mugabe has ploughed an estimated US$500m into the purchase of 10 new fighter jets and military vehicles from Russia, Zimdaily can reveal. The government's acquisition of the military hardware has been blasted by the opposition MDC which charges that the purchase of military equipment had by-passed the State Procurement Board. The MDC has already queried the defence budget - the biggest in the current financial year - which it says is unjustifiable for a country that is not at war.
