Hopefully, Boston's own Mumbles Menino will be the spokesman for the group:

Giuliani - his mentor.
Wonder if they will discuss their illegal drug control success before bringing up banning guns? /S
Not that's an idea. It was just a firearm induced abortion, and thereby doubly protected by the constitution.
That's the ticket!
It all comes down to fathers getting married to mothers.
Let's see a graph of gun crime per capita v. marriage rate.
Wow, made it all the way to post #3 before someone introduced abortion.
Not fast enough on the trigger these days, are you. Next job: Link the second post of every thread to abortion. Soon, you will be first! Then you will take charge, and every post will be about abortion.
Baby Killers!!! Millions of dead!!! AAAAARgh (falling out of your easy chair)!!!!
Or maybe you could stop hijacking threads.
Gun crime is linked to culture.
Last time I checked, guns weren't violent. I have an even dozen of 'em and the live quietly in my gun cabinet, 'cept for when I take 'em out for some Cowboy Action Shootin'!
Whereupon we make large amounts of noise, smoke and ringing steel sounds and otherwise have a good ol' time.
Won't work. Gunmakers don't have anything like the money of the tobacco companies. I'm afraid its just good ol' gun-fearing tyrant wannabes...
The mayor of dallas can go to the summit in new york and stay there permanently if he believes that gun control nonsense.
This is it in a nutshell. Does it occur to anyone that we should no longer vote in LAWYERS as our legislators? We're working on getting rid of our Lawyer/Governor in Wisconsin right now.
"Supporters say that without the law local governments could influence federal policy by repeatedly filing baseless lawsuits."
They've got their panties in a wad because someone is standing between them and cash-generating lawsuits against honest manufacturers. *Rolleyes*
It is just wrong on so many levels.
It speaks volumes of the Urban Bureacrats who do not trust citizens (and know they are incompetent to deliver on promiseses of "free stuff")
It speaks of their wish to dip into the pockets of gun makers whatever the price.
It also speaks volumes of the ignorance of those who are professional politicians and how they see themselves above any law or constitution. Essentially gun grabbers think they are smarter than all those who wrote the constitution.
