Before Newt, I had concluded there was not a dime's worth of difference between the parties and was pretty much throwing in the towel. Now it seems to me that the Republicans have worked themselves right back into that situation again. It is disheartening.

I say vote out ALL incumbents this November ... or failing that, hold the incumbents accountable for their woeful inaction.

I agree. I worked hard to get W elected in both 2000 and 2004, and contributed the max to each of his campaigns. I worked just as hard for Brownback. I really feel let down, and so do a majority of the conservative Republicans in Kansas.
