Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later. If youd like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request. All requests happily honored.
"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time -- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
Gas prices: Kyl backs more drilling, Pederson seeks legislative solutions

For instance:
"Many of the illegals are potential conservatives and potential Republicans -- they have lower unemployment and crime rates than the public generally..."
Tony, the numbers of illegals filling our jails has been estimated at @ 30%. And can you cite your source of unemployment figures for illegals?
I also have a problem with this statement:
" My suggestion is to figure out which want to be citizens and insist they do what's necessary: Work, learn the language, stay off welfare, obey the laws."
"INSIST"? How are we suppose to pull this off? Why don't we "insist" on illegals being deported? And who cares if THEY "want to become citizens"?
Why assume it's already a fait accompli that we MUST concede solutions to what most Americans already reject -- Amnesty for Illegal Invaders?
It occurred to me several months ago when you could really see this thing coming together that the efforts to make it appear that the whole thing was hopelessly lost would be stepped up, and the enemies of our country have not disappointed me.
Iraq sorely needs to get off the snied and elect a new PM to replace Jaafari. Once that is done, a new Govt can lead the charge toward stabilizing the country - Priority One

Mike Pence for President in 2008!
The Senate immigration compromise wont do.
As usual, Ali, I'm going to have to come back later and read all of your wonderful links.

"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you," Sen. Clinton said. "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
Thank you, sir!
Interesting link...
If the Senate wants to be successful in passing immigration reform, its first priority should be to approve a bill to secure the borders and increase interior-enforcement infrastructure. Then we can move on to discussions about fair and humane treatment of the illegal-alien population and the future flow of immigrants across our borders.
Thanks for posting alternate streaming sources: the on-line stream directly from Fox drops out so much it's almost impossible to understand.
Unless it's a commercial...
You mean those are links? I thought Ali was just conversing in code like on "24". 8)
