Chinese President to Visit Gates Home By Nate Mook, BetaNews

April 17, 2006, 12:19 PM

China's President Hu Jintao will be making a historic trip to the United States this week, but his host will not be U.S. President George Bush. Rather, Hu is traveling to Seattle, Washington to have dinner with Bill Gates in the Microsoft chairman's 66,000 square-foot house that overlooks Lake Washington.

President Hu will join a group of 100 dinner guests, including Washington state Governor Christine Gregoire and Starbucks chairman Howard Schultz. A key topic for the evening will be China's efforts to crackdown on software piracy, with three Chinese PC makers recently announcing plans to buy $400 million worth of Windows licenses over the next three years. Lenovo, China's largest computer manufacturer, will announce a similar deal on Monday.

Commies are cronic ballot box stuffing vote fixers. I'm sure Hu will give some kudos to Gregoire at the party.
"Nicely played Mrs. Gregoire. We hope to apply some of your party's techniques in our next election."

The only question is...
...WHICH one will be on their knees?

"I Tell You, Upon this Mac I will build my Church, and the Hell of Gates shall not prevail against it." ;-)

Cheers!

Microsoft is a monopoly. Monopolies are never communist.

It was a comment for our resident troll and Microsoft cheerleader who's always linking Linux with communism, specifically the Chinese.

Well Linux is in fact the standard software for Chicomm government computers is it not? The latest word is 80 percent of their government servers use it, due to mandates by the government.

It's not everyone who can persuade the President of China to fly in for dinner. I once invited him over, but he never even answered my invitation.

Anything but admit the accuracy of my post and link, obviously.

The factual accuracy isn't disputed. It's your Democrat-like use of the information (take a simple fact and twist it to your warped philosophy) and your constant off-topic posting of it that's disliked.

The DNC uses Linux, and the RNC uses Windows. You obviously already knew this, since you created a thread here one time called "Democrats ahead of Republicans on Open Source", and have been defending it ever since.

Well they make our PC's. IBM sold out to them so why not take over the software market? Yes, Microsoft, you know whats ... but it sells.

And this site uses Linux. You obviously know that. Of course, so does DU, so maybe it's a conspiracy!
