I guess the FAX machine was switched "ON" in the governor's mansion Sunday morning so Bill could receive this week's edition of DNC talking points on Rumsfeld.
Talking about diplomacy, how much good have Bill's several trips to North Korea done to stop that nation's push for nuclear weapons?
(BTW, the ABQ Journal is now free again, though you have to view a short advertisment before you are linked with the article.)

Richardson is the most overrated of all the candidates.
A total phoney who loves himself dearly.
He'll tank early.

I'm shocked that Richardson would, given a chance to espouse lib Dem talking points, do just that.
shocked.

What is incredible to me is that the same people who didn't want Bush to go into Iraq without proof positive of WMDs are now "hawkish" ...except they really aren't because they send memos (through the press) warning Bush NOT to take Iran out...
My head is spinning with the idiocy of them all

What role did Anthony "The Protocols of" Zinni play in the Iraq invasion, Bill?

Drive through his state sometime.Be prepared for numerous roadblocks so the police can fish for whatever.Wife and I both considered moving there to be closer to the kids. Three visits woke us up.Now,we dont even visit. Those ex Generals could get a good job there on the police force. They could make rules as they go along.Seems the police do!

Richardson ought to resign for repeatedly lying about being a draft pick of the Kansas City A's in 1966. What a putz.

Good point. Even better when you consider Richardson was Clinton's Energy Secretary and presided over numerous spy scandals at labs in NM and elsewhere. Yeah. He'd be a great CiC.

I call on Gov. Bill Richardson to resign.

"We should listen to what these generals are saying," Richardson said. "These are six distinguished military officers who were involved in the invasion and occupation of Iraq. They basically are saying that Secretary Rumsfeld ...didn't listen to them. Two points:
1) There are thousands of generals who aren't aligned with the 7 dissenters.
2) Rummy has admitted that mistakes were made. Most non-military folks do not understand that despite all of the best laid plans, when the first shot is fired in combat, conditions change.
In summary, Richardson is an ass-breath.

Approximately 4500 or more retired Generals.
Another 900 or so on active duty.
But all we here is about 6 of them.
Anyone wonder why?

Yeah and every time I hear that east coast accent - all I can think is carpet bagger.I am sure The Carpet Bagger urged then Impeached President Clinton to resign.
It was the "right thing" to do for the good of the country.
