U.S. and Britain Rehearse Occupation of Iran as Named 'Korona'

The United States and Britain have been collaborating on a war game meant to be an invasion of Iran for reasons related to the nuclear activities there, a real concern for the international community, the Guardian wrote.

The Guardian wrote that the British military officials went over “fictitious scenarios” for an invasion of Iran when they were invited one year after the invasion of Iraq to respond to a plan from the United States Defense Ministry, the Pentagon.

The war game came out as codenamed “Hotspur 2004” at the United States base of Fort Belvoir in Virginia in July 2004. It entailed a future invasion of “Korona,” a fictitious Middle Eastern country, in 2015.

“Although the planners said the game was based on a fictitious Middle East country called Korona, the border corresponded exactly with Iran's and the characteristics of the enemy were Iranian,” the Guardian wrote.

It is remarkable to note the simultaneity between a statement from the Iranian government about its entrance to the nuclear club and the ensuing discussion of Iran’s decision to do so.

The British officials, however, argued for the conventionality of such games or plans.

The Guardian’s news article said that Washington and London pointed at the Caspian region and Middle East as the target of their war games.

The news article claimed that the occupation plan was planned and organized by the US Central Command, responsible for the Middle East and Central Asia, and Strategic Command, responsible for long-range rockets and nuclear operations.

Emphasizing that this practice was realized one year after the start of the Iraq War, the newspaper claimed that Korona, which is aimed to be occupied, bears resemblance to Iraq in terms of its characteristic features and borders.

Yet, British Defense Ministry claimed that they formed imaginary countries on the map during these games, adding it was of little importance.

A ministry representative told this was just an exercise on paper and they aim to develop the skills of military experts to prepare war scenarios.

The Defense Ministry sources stressed that they work on imaginary occupations from time to time, and this happened in the NATO headquarters before, along with British and US territories. The same sources reported that they worked on Scotland’s occupation in January.

I don't know it that is true, but we should be ready. Like the 1942- 1945 Civil Defense Poster:

"YOU - and the WAR" - “Complete Victory According to the Will of the American People!”- "Home safety is front line defense : Conserve - protect." - “What Did You Do Today For Freedom?"

Times were hard, there's a job for every American in these civilian defense efforts " street wardens, auxiliary firemen, auxiliary policemen, and other services in the civilian defense army."

Damn! IT's about TIME!
I'm tired of the Scottish culture seeping insidously into
our own, using haggis and deep fried Mars bars to woo the
unwary! What's next meat pasties?
