Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps has set up a new terrorist training camp in Eastern Iraq, according to a commander of Iraq's border police.

The Iraqi officer told the National Iraqi News Agency that the camp was situated 2.5 kilometres from the Iran-Iraq border in the Iraqi province of Diyala.

The IRGC has been holding training courses lasting two weeks at the camp for its Iraqi mercenaries to carry out assassinations of Sunni Iraqis, especially those who held officer ranks in the Iraqi army during the reign of Saddam Hussein, the officer said.

Iraqi border patrols in Diyala have been put on a heightened state of alert and have begun to carry out extensive security sweeps close at the border stretch.

This is really good, right?

If we know where it is, we can monitor the comings and goings...:)

And drop a few JDAMS at our leisure.

Sounds like if they are proof perfect they are where they are reported to be, an early JDAM could take care of this all at one time.

There you go, a target of opportunity. I wonder what would happen if a regiment of Marines supported by air cover were to come calling.

it's time for a little 'demonstration' with a Wing of B-52's.
Really give them a good show

If the Iraqui Police know of this Iranian sponsored training camp why don't they and the military do something about it. Iran must be shown the bottom of a combat boot.that's an insult to most arabs.

The U.S. must get serious with Iran and quick.

It's starting to look as though Iran is the next domino. But, I think we are waiting for Iran to take the first step and words are not steps.

I'd call a terror training camp a good step.

Iran Sets Up New Terror Camp in Eastern Iraq

Why am I reading this headline instead of something along the lines of: "Iraqi-American coalition forces destroy Terrorist training camp in Eastern Iraq"?

I'd call a terror training camp a good step.

It would if it is true and we capture or kill some of Stinky's folks on site.

Sounds like a real good Force Rcon and Special Ops mission.

exactly. Go in and capture as many as possible so we'll have living proof of their actions. The new Iraqi government can then declare war which would have the effect of making people like Sadr instant enemies of the state. He can then be whacked in short order. If any of this can be proven, the mullahs of Iran are officially on the clock.

Just laying out the agenda to the sheeple one piece at a time. We'll be dropping ordnance on Iran fairly soon, I expect.

A camp located in another country!
