snugs, I posted a note to wolf and silent_jonny at 194 or so. I wondered why the response from the WH and Park Service to the gays was so benign. But I think it's obvious now.
To repeat, the tickets are timed. The Bushes and the press will be there from about 8-9 am. The gay group have tickets for times like 10 or 11 or later. They won't have a chance to see the Bushes, nor will the press see many of them.
We'll see how the media spins this, but the Park Service is well prepared to keep it a family event.
Which even more shows that the statement from the first lady office had nothing to do with that group.
