Astute Dosers will notice the deep dishonesty of the woman organizing the gay takeover of this year's Easter Egg Roll. She says what they're doing is not a protest nor an attempt to politicize the event, but it IS a protest and they are politicizing it.

Like all White House holiday events, the Easter Egg Roll has ALWAYS been non-political. The Easter Egg Roll, in particular, has been for very young children. In order to get in, you have to bring at least one toddler. An event for the most innocent among us -- that's what the radical Left (in this case, the gay and lesbian wing) are injecting themselves into Easter.

One antitdote to this ugly nonsense is for people to read and know history. For those who are interested in the history of this event, I've provided the following link. History of the White House Easter Egg Roll

Wow, Wolfstar what a wonderful collection of information & pictures. Thank you so very much.

It is interesting & it made me again wonder (but I have never asked or researched) just when did the fence go up at the Whitehouse

New White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten (L) is joined by outgoing Chief of Staff Andrew Card (C) as Bolten is sworn-in by Deputy Chief of Staff Joe Hagin in the Roosevelt Room of the White House in Washington, April 14, 2006.

Nice touch that Andy Card was there at Josh Bolten's side for his swearing in.

Good luck Josh!

Happy Easter to all my FReeper FRiends!

In a cleverly orchestrated move, the gay parents and their kids are using the event

That should read:

In a cleverly politically orchestrated move, the gay parents and their kids are using the event are using their kids at the event
