I am not sure if the song was written that early or if it was the music the song may have come later.
That looks really yummy. My mom keeps giving me jelly beans. I don't like jelly beans. I told her I wanted CHOCOLATE. Sigh...she never listens.
We had a beautiful Mass today, and a young woman with the most gorgeous voice sang one of the hymns. I've often thought that the best singers are in the church choirs and rarely ever in Hollywood or on the stage. I guess the talent agents don't go to church. LOL
A boy about 7 years old was ahead of me in the communion line, and our pastor who is elderly and ill looked down on the little boy with the warmest smile and patted him on the head. The boy walked away with such pride. The pastor's smile for a child made my day.
Thank you!
That's odd.....I have home movies of my sister, me and my brother hunting Easter eggs in a field off an old RAF base in Manchester.....when we were stationed there...I still remember the wild buttercups growing in that field.....
You have really got into the glitter messages
I found a couple of sites where you don't have to edit...like pimpmyspace.org......hehehe
My parents just give us candy for Easter. This year we got jelly beans, Skittles, and the mini Hershey bars. And, of course, a big chocolate bunny which I'm working on eating right now.
Dad says he remembers Easter egg hunts when he was young but I never had one we were into large and which I know appreciate expensive eggs which we all got one of adults and me.
When children do have them now I am not certain if they put them in basket or just a plastic bag will have to ask at work on Tuesday we have a lady who has 2 children.
Most people I know just give the eggs in the boxes though parents may do a hunt but would very rarely put a basket together for a child unless it was in the shop already done.
So you did get chocolate but I understand you wanted a egg not just a bunny :0)
Hi everyone!
Hope you are having a wonderful Easter. Thanks for the dose, Wolfstar!
I got a little bit of chocolate but not much :( I got more Skittles than chocolate.
The Easter egg hunt in Manchester was probably done by the Americans...I'm sure it was the Officer's Club on base....I have always had an Easter basket while growing up and did the same for my two boys...in fact this is the first year I didn't make them one...
So true about those who sing in church, isn't it. Sometimes, they seem to sing like the angels.
I saw in the shops skittle easter eggs (hollow egg with a couple of packets of skittles with)
Jelly beans look like tiny eggs and have Spring colors..!

Aw, gee! That means you don't get those adorable little yellow chickies with the tiny wire feet that you could perch in the wicker handle of the basket? I ALMOST liked them better than the chocolates.
