It would be unbelieveably stupid to let the Democrats take control just to "teach the Republicans a lesson". You know what's going to happen? Withdrawel from Iraq, negating everything we've done, a green light for Iran to develop nukes, open borders, and no conservative majority on the Supreme Court. That's what's at stake here. Is that what we really want?
You do remember that Bush has a veto right. Even if the Dem get a majority in one or two houses they will not have enough in the Senate to override a filibuster nor will they have enough to override a veto. the only change will be that the Republicans will have to act like Republicans for 2 years to win the election. Not a bad deal when you think in those terms right?
