God Bless her. She is a true soldier. Just the kind of person the libs loathe. Why? Because she stands for all that is good about our military and our mission in Iraq. My hat's off to a fellow SFC/E-7. I'm very proud of you.

This idiotic political trollop is an affront to all that is good about our military. There is no greater affront to our men and women serving in the armed forces than to use the death of one to further her libtard political agendas. I'm guessing if Casey could come back to earth for just 20 minutes he would spend the time kicking the crap out of this woman.

I saw her on TV and she's got a young daughter at home. Sorry, I don't think we should be sending Moms out to do this sort of thing. And no, the libs will not "loathe" this story. They were the ones who wanted to feminize the military under Clinton, and I guess they won.

This was her choice and I applaud her for it. It's tough to leave your family behind, I have done it 5 times. But there are times that things are bigger than family. I missed my oldest daughter's birth and her graduation from HS due to overseas deployments. These are things I can never get back. But on the positive side of it, I was doing something that helped her go through these events in a country that is free.

You are most welcome. A flag flies outside my house 24-7, lit at night. For me it's a sacred reminder of all the sacrifices of brave men and women before me. And I will defend it's right to fly with my life, if necessary.

I have countless POW/MIA flags that were flown outside my home until I had to take them down.I know it sounds crazy, but I sometimes think it should be flown above the American flag, because if it weren't for them, the American flag wouldn't be there.I would never do such a thing, but it makes sense in a way.I had a dumbass show up at my door, wondering why I was flying a pirate flag!At first I was speechless, but once I got over my initial shock, what I told him can not be posted, but he was gone in very short order. He was well dressed and drove a new vehicle. When he left,he was very aware it was not a pirate flag!

I know how you feel, I know two Vietnam Era POW's. But nothing supercedes our flag in precedence. It alone stands for the sacrifices of brave Americans, both male and female.

We can give a lot of thanks to sKerry, and his band of traitors for squelching the return of many POWs after the war.He is a disgusting individual, and so are the people who vote for him.He had a chance to help, but was too concerned about his own political future.Evil is to kind a word.

Please, don't even get me started on this scumbag. He scams out of his committment with three bogus PH's, only to come home and dump on his fellow servicemen. It is beneath contempt. Having been through two wars myself, I can say with all confidence, you do whatever is necessary to keep your buddies on either side of you alive. I am not saying that atrocities ocurred in VN, or any other war, they did. But to universally condemn all of us that have honorably served because of the actions of a few is disgusting and at best, self serving.

Better men than him got less, and deserved much more.I agree as I was serving also during that war and many a good man was left by the wayside.I took what he said personally.I just can not get over how many people were willing to vote for him.It boggles the mind.

Apropo to your response...

I was born an American. I live as an American; I shall die an American; and I intend to perform the duties incumbent upon me in that character to the end of my career. I mean to do this with absolute disregard to personal consequences. What are the personal consequences?

What is the individual man with all the good or evil that may betide him, in comparison with the good and evil which may befall a great country, and in the midst of great transactions which concern that country's fate? Let the consequences be what they will, I am careless, No man can suffer too much, and no man can fall too soon, if he suffer or if he fall, in the defense of the liberties and Constitution of his country.

...Daniel Webster
