If our senators think that a (the amnesty bill rewqiring a) $1,000 fine will make things right for an illegal, why do they think that Americans should pay many times that amount in taxes?

The unprecedented use of the US government to get extraordinary special treatment for south-of-the-border lawbreakers---and soaking working class Americans with the bills to subsidize lawbreaking---is an outrage.

If they let these illegals out of IRS penalties, can you imagine the legalities following that amnesty?

Man! Waiting for this other shoe to drop in the Senate next week is excruciating! I've cut back my posting just so I don't say anything too over the top.

I don't know if I want them to pass some piece of slop bill and then fight over it all summer before the House gets it, or if I want them to kill the Senate bill totally, knowing that it will have to be dealt with sometime anyway! It's torture!

I would be willing to bet that IF GIVEN THE CHANCE to enter LEGALLY to be fingerprinted, photographed, background check, interrogated, BEFORE given entry to
"Do the "JOBS" Americans wont do"
They WOULD NOT ENTER!!!!

WHY? because their intent is not truly known!

America is their own GOLDEN CASH COW!!!!!

The senate is removed from reality when it comes to illegal aliens. Their amnesty plan sells out the security of our country and our citizens.

The republicans in the senate are beholding to fat-cat businessmen who love cheap, docile labor. Like wallmart, they can shift part of the wages and most all of the benefits onto the backs of the taxpayers, in the form of food-stamps and medicaid.

The democrats in the senate just want more poor people. They know the poor vote mainly for democrats.

Senators from both parties are so arrogant because they think "Who are they going to vote for? The other party?". Senators are in for six years so they don't have to face the voters all that often.

I ask the question: Can we have recall elections to remove senators, mid-term, from office? For example, say a rino senator is one year into their six year term. Can the citizens of his state get enough signatures to have a special election to have him recalled? I hope so.

The senate needs to be more responsive to the American people. Nailing a few of them in mid-term recall elections is a way to do it.

Seems all our fundamental institutions have their tentacles all over this illegal invasion. The politicos are needing votes, education system need a new supply after they have left our children behind, those of the economic tentacles do need cheap labor without benefits, call it a hidden tax hike for medical and educational benefits. Lastly but of the higher order that religious covering.

Imagine Hillry putting on a collar.... didn't somebody very very religious say she would make a good president???

IMHO, we may yet be able to use the immigration issue to force tax reform....bartering an amnesty program for the Fair Tax bill...

The story is a real truth, The United States Senate no longer supports the American People nor does it support the voters who sent them there. They have become like the Senate of Rome before the Republic fell, worried about their own power and royal standing rather than the United States. The 17th Amendment has assured that we will have a royal anti-american Senate and it should be repealed immediately. We have very few Americans in the US Senate and we need to repeal the 17th Amendment so the state houses will again have the power to send representatives of the people to the US Senate.

The US Senate is responsible for the attack of 9/11 and the other terrorist attacks since they are the ones who drew the line in the sand and did not let the intelligence agencies talk to each other on what was going to happen. They have proved to be anti-Americans who are only interested in keeping their royal positions and care less what happens to the American people or the United States.

REPEAL THE 17TH AMENDMENT!

The US Senate represents the 100 US Senators.

Anyone that believes differently is delusional.

The Senate has become our very own House of Lords.

I hope the Founding Fathers are spinning. Thanks a lot, guys.

***Just the thought that the pro-amnesty senators and President Bush would even consider amnesty shows how dangerously out of touch they are with the workings of their own government and, more importantly, with the lives of average Americans. The Bronx***

The President has said repeatedly that he is AGAINST amnesty. What do these people need, a smack on the head to get them to pay attention?

As for Bush--He is tring to be " A Nice Guy". Leo Dorocher had it right about "Nice Guys".

As for Congress, the Abramoff thing has demonstrated that they are all whores. Give me enough money, and I'll vote for anything.

As for Democrats, Truth in Advertising should make them wear a sign that says "Vote for sale".

As for RINOs, they should have a sign." I pimp for Dems"

Even LA's dispictable mayor admitted, in today's LA Timrs, that his amnesty email is running 500 to 1 against.

El turd claims to be a "statesman" but can't even pass the bar.

I predict a lot of new faces in Washington, DC after this election.

Hopefully, every House and Senate race will be contested by a Real American who believes that all who wish to emigrate to the USA should do so legally.

I can guarandammtee you that I would vote for such a person!

I sure wish we could find those people who are out there that would protect America rather than selling it down the river. I would put them in office so fast.

The American people are getting wise to the political class and elites. To counter, the politicalites through the open borders policy, will get a voting block that is in their favor. Plus it gives them low cost workers and servants that are subsidized by the taxpyer through the welfare system.
