Can't they buy food in their own stores? I personally DO NOT want to see Muhammad and one his Black sheeted wives roaming Tom Thumb in search of the "Muslim" section....or complaining their section is too close to the Jewish section or that the store shouldn't be selling pork or Christmas cards......

They're here, more are coming, and as the numbers become greater, so does their whining. We share this country with stupid Americans who allow these things to happen, and we share this country with stupid NON Americans who are "doing the happening!"

Don't get too excited, look on your food for a K or a U, that means it is approved.
In most cases what we had to accept, and pay for the Jewish faith will transfer to the Islamic faith.
Kosher covers most Muslim food issues.

That's not entirely true. Some Muslims will not buy Kosher items.

True. Doesn't meat have to be blessed and then slaughtered in the direction of Mecca?
To: Minus_The_Bear
Something like that. I forget the particulars

They base that on an estimated Muslim population of 7 million, although some estimates are much lower and no census figures indicate with certainty the number of U.S. Muslims. I can state with absolute certainty that any number of US muslims is "too many".

Why not? Can you give me a short description?
Is it that the religious restrictions are the same, but they won't accept a Jewish path to get there?

Wait a bleeping minute - pork in Honey Nut Cheerios? Bah! I can't tell you which symbol is on it as it's Passover, but I am pretty sure you'll find the "U" (Union of Orthodox Rabbis). This is nuttiness at best.

No restrictions must be different - goat is definitely not kosher by any means.

Is it easier to learn the Muslim Diet laws in toto,
or to learn what they do not share with Jewish law?

"...goat is definitely not kosher by any means." Does that mean Jews can't eat mutton? I thought they were only restricted from eating pork.
I was in Thailand a few months ago and a Thai friend who accompanied me to an eatery in a Bangkok mall told me most Thais don't consume mutton. It was not a "vegan" thing, because he didn't find consuming chicken or even beef against his beliefs.

No restrictions must be different - goat is definitely not kosher by any means. Goat is too kosher, if it's slaughtered and handled properly.
It is not pareve, which means it can't be cooked or consumed with any dairy products. Exodus 23:19.

Check out Wikipedia on this one. Their explanation seem thourough enough.
It did say that the animal's comfort is a concern, and their method of slaughter is the most humane.
Too bad their rules don't apply to non-muslim humans.
