From the 4/11/06 edition of his yack show.........
CARLSON: Well, if you watched this show before you may have noticed that I look different tonight. Im not wearing a bow-tie. This is odd for me. I have worn a bow-tie on television every night for the past six years and for 15 years off air before that, since I was in 10th grade.
I like bow-ties, and I certainly spent a lot of time defending them.
But from now on Im going without: no ties at all.
I didnt lose a bet. It is not a political statement. I didnt ditch the bow-tie in protest or in solidarity with any oppressed group. Its not a ratings ploy but decided. I just decided I wanted to give my neck a break. A little change is good once in awhile, and I feel better already.
So to all three of you who watch this show for the bow-tie Im sorry. For the rest of you who dont take a position on neckwear one way or the other we now returned to our regularly scheduled programming.

In more important news Blackirish decided to change watchbands.
hmmm, I heard Glenn Beck making fun of him yesterday or today about those bowties.... now he takes off his bow ties... i see a scandal. LOL
I said on an earlier "Tucker loses his bow tie" thread that next he's going to grow a penis, and mariabush threw a hissy fit, the admin mod deleted my comment, and I found myself annoyed. So now I'm needling them for it. Grow a pair. Grow a penis. Whatever.
So he finally hit puberty?
Tucker.....who cares and btw it's not the bow-ties!
I did a (pathetic) search before posting and didn't find anything, but, here it is.
AM, feel free to yank the one I put up.
FR certainly doesn't need 2 threads devoted to this.
Do you think he'll ever figure out that his hiring at CNN had to do with the fact he was a joke and therefore could be counted on to do a bad job of representing the right?
Who knows? I only know that he's just another establishment kneepadder. He couldn't articulate a truly conservative viewpoint unless you engraved it on an anvil and dropped it on his mush filled skull.
Well, yeah, one is probably more than enough.
I'm not exactly a fan of his but he does have a wife and kids. I would probably refer to him as a quirky conservative. Or maybe a 'maverick' if you really want to compliment him. I'll pass on that one though.
"He looks so much better now, why he's practically hot!"
Your Gay aren't you?
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Everything is relevant. In Red states, Tucker is viewed at best as a RINO.
If he were smart, he'd get rid of that Goofy Max Kellerman and replace the dyke (who has the Goodwill Industries wardrobe) with Wendy Murphy. Wendy is really hot when she gets angry. I bet her husband really gets turned on when she kicks the crap out of him.
Close your eyes, and Wendy Murphy sounds like Paula Poundstone - Ugh!
We need a picture...
...which is why the MSM loves him as their token "conservative".
Yeah, I was trying to razz the mod along with the poster who hassled me. I guess since I left cubicle dronedom, the thought of a 3 day freep suspension isn't that scary anymore. Shhh! I shouldn't say that out loud. Nevermind :-)
'bout time Tucker.
I like him.
He's not the political analyst like Rush.
He's not the brilliant tactician like Newt.
He's not as ferocious as Michael Savage.
So what? A nice guy, with generally conservative values, and a generation younger than all of them. When he's 54, like Rush is --
