Image hosted by Photobucket.com it's an old lawyer trick... say something you want the jury to hear that you know they shouldn't know about,

the judge has it stricken from the record and tells the jury to ignore what was said. RIGHT!!!

right or wrong... you can't unring the bell.

Its also like the quote about Lawyers.

"What are two lawyers in a court of law? They are like two pairs of shears that cut at everything but the truth and not each other."

The same could be said for newspapers and journalists.

That crap goes on in the court rooms of America everyday.

Last week my son was in traffic court on a speeding violation and this appearance was after a continuance scheduled because the prosecutor questioned whether my son's record contained a seperate out-of-state DUI offense that he wanted confirmed.

Well, a month later and after another discussion with my son's counsel this idiot goes before the Judge and tells the Judge my son has an out-of-state DUI on his record and calls for a year in jail!

Son's counsel presents the driving abstract and proves there's NO DUI.

I think this lame --- prosecutor should be prosecuted.

I'm still fuming! [/rant]
