Dirty Pool, Michael Steele, Democrats, plan of attack [Maryland]
torontofreepress ^ | April 14, 2006 | John Burtis

When I was a kid and played football, I was somewhat dismayed to hear a cheer, broadcast hoarsely by a crowd at a tough city school we played–"hit ‘em high, hit ‘em low, come on boys, hit ‘em hard ‘n low."

Today, thanks to its interception by a free safety at the New York Sun, we are beginning to get an idea of the kind of low blows and guerilla warfare to be waged against Michael Steele, Maryland’s current Lieutenant Governor, the first black man ever elected to a statewide office, as he begins a run for the US Senate.

The first quarter of the attack featured the rather shabby recovery of Mr. Steele’s private personal financial information by Katie Barge and Lauren Weiner, both members of Senator Chuck Schumer’s Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee staff, who picked off his social security number from court records for an intense investigation of his private life, which, according to federal law, is supposed to be off limits.

These weren’t just kids involved in this caper--performing actions which the vaunted high-falutin’ white gloved Mr. Schumer had railed against for years. No, Ms. Barge was an old line Democratic operative from the Harold Ickes mold, with dirty sleeves, who worked for Mr. David Brock at Media Matters for America and was the research director for John Edwards. But Mr. Schumer’s mea culpa rang rather hollow, however, when he stridently claimed that the masses of illegal information swept up in the dragnet were never used.

Still not receiving much MSM coverage. Imagine what would be happening if Steele was a democrat and the RNC illegally obtained his credit file.

They'd consider it a Watergate style action and scream for GWB's head on a pike.

The Dems are going to go all out on the smear campaign against Steele, they're scared. Hopefully, it will backfire on them.

I wonder why they even bother. The Democrats in the Maryland legislature just overrode a veto of their bill to essentially encourage people to vote several times in different precincts. The machine will now be able to generate an overwhelming Rat majority until the feds come in with slightly harsher controls that were used during Reconstruction.

I definitely think it's going to take some action by the Feds to straighten them out and this election with Steele running could be the catalyst for it.

The national GOP is AWOL on this too. Then they scratch their heads and wonder why they cannot connect with black voters.

We need to forget about the MSM. The way to really get these lowlifes is to do direct mailing and outreach to the black American community documenting what the Dems are doing to Mr. Steele every step of the way. This will help Mr. Steel and begin hurt the Democrat party in general so that, over time, black Americans can begin to see what sleaze ball hypocrites they really are.

The fact that we are reading this is a very good sign. Just a few years ago this story would NEVER see the light of day. It could not be fought if it was not known. As to the voter fraud, could it be worse than the voter fraud they must have pulled for kennedy-townsend? We won then. The Blacks are very much more interested in voting for Steele than they were in voting for Ehlich.

If Steele wins, it is the beginning of the end for the 'Rats complete slave-control over the Black vote... and THEY know it. This race is far more important than Florida is, and we need to treat as such.
