U.S. Senator John McCain is offering $50.00 an hour to anyone willing to stay in Yuma for 1 year and pick lettuce.

The heck with illegals..I'm a bonda-fide lifelong citizen of the U.S....happy to move to Arizona for the picking season for $50 an hour- I'm not afraid of hard work and love being outdoors. Wonder if I'd qualify? :)

They only pick lettuce from the end of November to the middle of March in Yuma.

I pick lettuce in my own garden for free. I plant it too. This is on top of my regular job. How stupid does that make me?
