Found something interesting
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/HB24Ak01.html
- KARACHI - Spring is only a month away, and preparations for Nauroz (the Persian new year) are well under way. In Iran this year, however, Nauroz was due to come with a deadly dimension: the start of a new phase of a broad-based anti-US resistance movement stretching from Afghanistan to Jerusalem....
The presence in Iran of the Palestinian groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad, as well as members of the Hizb-i-Islami Afghanistan, is well known, as is the presence of other controversial figures related to the "war on terror", such as al-Qaeda members. Security contacts have told Asia Times Online that several al-Qaeda members have been moved from detention centers to safe houses run by Iranian intelligence near Tehran.
The aim of these people in Iran is to establish a chain of anti-US resistance groups that will take the offensive before the West makes its expected move against Tehran.
If I am reading this correctly, the view from the Middle East is all the 'anti US Resistance' (as they put it, is gathering in Iran for one big battle..

The radio edit controversy, any updates?
Rush played the following clip of a media forum:
RUSH: Stop the tape. Okay. "the topic that hasn't come up tonight is Rush Limbaugh. They've assaulted the objectivity of newspapers." See, I'm a "they" now. The topic that hasn't come up is Rush Limbaugh. "They" have assaulted... I am a "They."
He made a big deal out of how 'he' was referred to as 'they'.. but......
When Hannity played the same clip later, it was a little different:
"the topic that hasn't come up tonight is Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. They've assaulted the objectivity of newspapers."
Now, I wonder what camp edited the other host in or out?

Same reason he won't touch the "fairtax" fallacy, because Boortz is involved.

I just had a thought. It would be so much better if RUsh would take his vacations on days when most of the stations are pre-empting him for, ugh, baseball!
I fall asleep watching baseball on TV. Hearing it on the radio puts me into a coma.

It's easier to delete and make it sound correct than it is to insert.
