YES YES. YES!

I already have mass quantities of DVDs and books in my shopping cart at Amazon.com (for those who don't want to go outside on May 1st). Buy up a storm at the grocery store.

I don't eat fast food but maybe I'll have an Egg McMuffin and a Venti coffee of the day at Starbucks!

And if you can't get any service because there's no-one behind the till, make a note of that, too....

"Buy up a storm at the grocery store"

Please.. do NOT buy anything TYSON. "They are going to close five of it's nine U.S. beef plants and four of six pork plants Mondays as it expects many workers will attend immigration rallies", according to news reports. (They rely on immigrant labor.)

I suspect our Springdale Arkansas Poultry plant will be closed as well.

Where I'm located, Starbucks hires real Americans and gives them decent jobs. Their large cup of coffee is cheaper than that of McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts.

Never thought I'd say it, but get a pastry at Starbucks with the coffee...count calories Tuesday.
