WASHINGTON - Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is raising money like a presidential candidate even though she's only running against poorly funded Senate opponents. The New York lawmaker, a potential 2008 presidential candidate, raised more than $6 million in the first three months of the year, according to papers filed Thursday with the Federal Election Commission.

That's the headline for Democrats. For Republicans, it's Senator Smith Raises Cash Like a Crook.

If she's not a pro, who is?

This can't be. Dear Hilly wouldn't lie to the people of New York and use her Senate seat as a stepping stone to the Presidency.
No way.

When I saw the headline, I was reminded of an old Golden Girls episode, where the "girls" are picked up for prostitution... I always say there's someone for everyone, but Hillary's appeal is lost on me (for many reasons).

It's a shame Sen Moynihan is gone. He at times was a reasonable man, and far ahead of his time. Didn't seem to like her, from what I've read.

I find such a post interesting. The Clinton's have been working with Hollywood and certain elitist since the 1980s. Does anyone honestly believe this wasn't well planned many moons ago?
All of these things have been taking place for years. It is a political agenda that by the Grace of God we have been able to stand up against but there seems to be splintering taking place among Conservatives.

So did I. The oldest profession never has trouble raising cash.

Is there any liberal cause that the AP doesn't hype. I think their journalists are a bunch of "pros", or ho's.

"It's mind-blowing. She is raising money at a presidential level,"
And given her popularity, she will have to use it to pay people to vote for her.
