For years, America’s immigration policies and laws have shown a serious need for change. Mark Green has cosponsored legislation to substantially transform the way our federal law enforcement and immigration agencies work through the creation of the Department of Homeland Security (H.R. 5005, signed by President Bush on 11/25/2002). He also supported the USA PATRIOT Act, which tightens immigration laws to help prevent terrorists from entering the country. (H.R. 3162, signed by President Bush on 10/26/2001)
