I think the country might be in better shape if Senators actually paid attention to things more important than football. There! I said it! There are things more important than football, which is a GAME. An overpaid, overhyped, GAME. :)

It's Allen's way of reminding people who dad was. That's why the dang football is in every family picture, even the dressed up ones, where it looks ludicrous.

If you think honoring Pat Tillman was about football, I hope you'll excuse me if I don't take your criticism of U.S. senators too seriously.

Linda...Ronald Reagan often spoke of the benefits of playing football and how it imparted many wonderful qualites to a man.

No, Allen was a football player. He loves the game. The football is not in ~every~ picture. Check the Allen family photo album on his campaign site. 18 family photos. One football, held by his son.

So you don't like football. Fine. That takes nothing away from the fact that Pat Tillman, a former pro football player gave his life in service to protect YOUR right to not watch football. Sorry that doesn't mean anything to you.

As for the list, it was a random sampling. But a pretty darn impressive one. I noticed you ignored the work he did for the NRSC, as well as his standing up to the RATS buffoonery, AND calling for fiscal accountability in government.

I guess those don't mean anything to you either.
