And the blame goes to.... Bush43, McCain, Kennedy, Spector...
The immigration issue is the one issue that is more likely to destroy America in the end then anyother. More then CFR, Roe v Wade, USSC picks..... sorry those issues all pale in comparison to open borders, illegal immigration and amnesty every 10-20 years.
And that's the reason why I voted for Buchanan in 2000. Bush had made it clear where his vision was going to lead us on this issue, and this issue trumps all others.
If your homeland is in danger of shifting by nearly 50% in ten to thirty years, is it wise to vote in a guy that will facilitate it? I didn't think so.
Buchanan has done a low grade meltdown ever since, and his Middle-East views were always suspect. What can I say.
We're saving the Middle-East and disolving at home. Can't win for loosin'.
I agree with your "who's to blame" list in total, although the full House and Senate will share in the shame of what is being perpetrated on U.S. Citizens.
In the end though, no one can say that Bush hasn't been the best President Mexico has ever had, and if things continue on as they have, he'll go down as the single worst one we've had.
We will likely be dealing with Bush's domestic fiascos for the rest of time. That's not to say he hasn't done some good things on that front, but this issue is going to make them fade away in comparison.
Hate to say this but our current problem goes back to Reagan. I loved the man but clearly remember when he signed the amnest bill back then and he assured us that the new laws would take care of the problem.
Ain't buying that one again.
