Cindy Sheehan Goes To War Over No Tombstone For Son (Unhinged Jihad Cindy Alert)
Worldnetdaily.com ^ | 04/13/06 | N/A

Cindy Sheehan, the anti-Bush activist dubbed the "Peace Mom" for her efforts to stop the war in Iraq is lashing back at detractors who decry her lack of a tombstone for her son, Casey Sheehan, who was killed in the conflict two years ago.

Cindy Sheehan lies above her son's markerless grave in Vanity Fair's January 2006 issue

"I am so tired of the Rovian, heartless, and ignorant smear machine attacking me and my family at every turn of my back," Sheehan writes in an online commentary.

Sheehan is responding to criticism aimed at her for not having a headstone to mark Casey's grave at the Vacaville-Elimira Cemetery in Vacaville, Calif.:

For the first year after Casey was killed, I didn't want to believe it. I didn't want to place a TOMBstone on my son's grave. I didn't want one more marble proof that my son was dead. I couldn't even call where he was buried a "cemetery," I had to call it "Casey's Park." I placed fresh flowers in the cup every week and journaled there almost on a daily basis, and often laid on it and fell asleep and dreamed of my needlessly killed son. Have any of these people who claim that I am pissing on my son's grave even visited him? Have they visited the grave of any soldier needlessly or senselessly killed in George's war of choice for oil and profit? Have they sobbed uncontrollably for my first born who shouldn't even need a gravestone? No, all they want to do is attack a mother who wants to prevent other people from having to bury their own child. They want to perpetuate a war that has already killed many thousands of our fellow human beings for absolutely nothing. ... There are many people whom the Bush regime has killed, either directly or indirectly, by their murderous policies: there are people buried under rubble of Iraq and who were buried under the rubble of the World Trade Towers, and if their families were lucky they could find small parts to bury, before their remains were carted away in the enormous trucks and barges; there are people still unaccounted-for in the swamps of New Orleans and in refrigerated trucks in Mississippi that will never even have graves, let alone gravestones. The Bush regime is good for business, all right; especially the funeral business.

Some of the related comments aimed at Sheehan in recent days on Internet blogs include:

"I'm willing to bet she didn't put a marker so that it's harder for people to find his grave and honor him and his sacrifice for a cause he truly believed in. She's pathetic."

"The bottom line is that she put herself into the public eye and once there people will ask questions. Seems that she expects others to have tough skins when she attacks them, but now when asked a tough question, she dodges and ducks."

"It is a very good thing indeed that Saint Cindy is provided with handlers by George Soros' looney libs who are manipulating her, 'cause, folks, this just ain't a very smart woman. Her ability to generate her own rational thoughts, put them together in a modestly coherent sequence, and express them in a rudimentary form of English is on a par with that of a rural, south Louisiana 12-year-old. (I could have used Georgia or Alabama, but both of those states are blessed with Republican governors who are active in upgrading their states' educational standings.) Point is, Sheehan's non-answer amounts to, 'I can't be bothered with that right now. I'm on a mission. Don't bother me with stupid details.' Godspeed, Casey Sheehan. You deserved better of your sacrifice."

Let's see: Cindy Sheehan, the so-called "Peace Mother" AKA Jihad Cindy, is unhinged - she blames the Bush Administration for the lack of a tombstone for her son Casey Sheehan, who was killed in the Iraq War. Get this - this woman has been exploiting her son's memory to further an anti-American agenda and she gets paid God knows what but she's too cheap to put a marker on her son's grave. Apparently, she's too out of it to show respect for her own family's dead. How is it President Bush's fault after the compassion he showed her and her son? All of which goes to show that liberalism is indeed a form of mental illness.

...George's war of choice for oil and profit?

And the left simply can't grasp why people don't take them seriously...thus proving their are both ignorant AND stupid.

I have been discussing Ms. Sheehan with a dear friend of mine that lost her own USMC husband in Iraq . She is a member of the 'real' Gold Star Wives . She recently forwarded me a few comments made by other members of their online support group.
God bless these dear women:

1: I think the one
> message that should be sent is that she does not
> talk for all of the families of the fallen. That
> our husbands were fighting for a belief/cause that
> they believed in, to make America safe for
> everyone. we did not start this war, we never asked
> for them to attack us. This is America we don't run
> from terror, we face it head on, and we are a force
> to be reckoned with. But most of all our we should
> never have to fight with people who are dishonoring
> our husbands name. People should not include others
> where others do not want to belong. well thats my
> venting.

2: What always gets me pissed about Cindy Sheehan and
> her group (well one of the many things) is that they
> call themselves peacemakers. To me the peacemakers
> are our husbands and all the military members who
> have chosen to defend are nation. They signed the
> contract knowing that they where going to be going
> to Iraq. Even though they all knew the danger they
> where still willing to fight for not only American's
> but for those not strong enough to fight themselves.
> To me that is the true peacemaker.

Cindy doesn't have a friend in the world, only scumbag Democrats who have basically used her up and will very soon discard her like a used Kleenex. Her grief is obviously immense and never-ending, and all these whacky escapades over the past two years have kept her mind occupied and her grief in check. But as the day comes that nobody pays any attention to her anymore - - and that day is approaching fast - - the money will dry up and she will have to finally go home.

She is to be pitied. She needs to retire from public life and be with whatever family she has.

"I am so tired of the Rovian, heartless, and ignorant smear machine attacking me and my family at every turn of my back,"

And Im so tired of the moonbattian, traitorous and ignorant liberal scream team attacking OUR PRESIDENT at every turn IN A TIME OF WAR FOR OUR VERY EXISTANCE!

You EARNED IT BABY. YOU FIRED FIRST. QUIT PLAYING THE MARTYR IF YOU CANT TAKE IT.

YOU will NEVER sully your sons name.

When I hear the name Sheehan, I WILL REMEMBER YOUR HERO SON AND WHAT HE DIED FOR. Not his sad mentally ill mother that shames his memory every chance she gets.

OK, here I go. As much as I detest this woman, and her using of her son's death, she is the mother. Graves are for the living, not the dead. I understand that she is using and abusing the memory of her son. He is dead. He is most likely in a better place( I do not decide salvation). If the living do not want to mark the grave, so be it. Once the soul leaves the body we are just worm dirt. I personally, choose to be cremated. It is cheaper than being buried. I personally could care less about my body once I am finished with it. She is a blithering idiot, but this is a non - issue with me.

No one I know of has been smearing her family. If anything, all have expressed sympathy for them to be related to such a loon.

It is absolutely pathetic that she does not see any irony in that statement.

Isn't any war a war of choice? You can either fight or surrender. I'm glad we have a president who isn't interested in surrendering to terrorists.
